Feedback: Hearthstone Event

the way this event should work is:

  1. you kill the boss one time - you get ALL rewards.

  2. you want another bag on another character? ok you kill the boss one time on your alt and you get the bag (since you already have all other loot on your account).

it’s looking more like these drops are roughly 5%… have fun getting 20 kills in on an hourly event that is only around for a week.

Not sure if its because of feedback but some of our requests do get answered.

  • Follower dungeons not reducing XP based on # of NPCs

and just now -

  • simultaneous spawning of the portals so folks donʻt have to travel to each one in a rotation.

This would hamper the event for latecomers unless it scaled somehow to amount of players engaging.

“Why are there only 3 of us fighting this boss?”
“Everyone else got all the rewards day 1 and havenʻt touched the event since.”

When i try a time portal on an alt and theres 3 whole people there to fight the Litch King… Hard times.

The “requests” that get responses are the ones that are accompanied by not meeting their participation goals or a large number of unsubs.

I mean they made a basic non brain dead decision here. Let’s not give them too much credit.

The event needs to be extended byond 1 week… so many issues with it. And we basically lost 2 days of time with them for some. They extended the diablo event for longer, they need to do the same with this. ! week is not enough time especialle for RNG rewards too. It does not give players enough time to get all the rewards. Some people have work and lives outside the game and cant play most of the event.

New info all now the portals will spawn in all three spots on top of the hour …no more having to chase them…Whizbang’s portal should now spawn simultaneously in all three locations, every hour.

Would they have changed anything without feedback?

if only three people are there, the boss has like 3mil hp… it’s not hard to bring down solo.

While I believe they have at least one low paid employee who keep track of what is discussed on the forum in order to stay aware of sudden outrage, they probably wouldn’t do something about complaints unless they were accompanied by people speaking with their wallets.

Folks often remind us that the Forums are a small percentage of the entire player base.

If the outrage was that big on the forums you could probably multiply it by 200% for the rest of the playerbase. Im sure there were a lot of tickets pouring in about all the complaints we have heard on the forums.

Where does it even say this? I was unable to find the info anywhere at all. Finally after almost half an hour saw what looked like a (singular… ONE) player spawned table and figured there was some way for players to spawn them, but still had no idea how. Used my five wild cards and walked away annoyed.

There’s a large number of possible drop rate percents between “guaranteed rewards” and a drop rate so abysmally low it’s not worth participating. Blizzard has chosen the wrong drop rate.

When you get the achievement Hearthstone beginner (collect 10 hearthstone cards) the reward is a toy: Hearthstone game table.

If you search the achievement you see the reward listed and you can search your toy box if you already have the achievement.

My ideal situation would be at least one guaranteed drop per kill. There are seven items to get and I feel that you should be able to get them all after seven kills. The order you get them in can be random. That would mean someone who can only log in and do one per night can still get them. I hated the drop rate in the Diablo event because it took me the entire week, farming every spawn each day to finally get the charger. Looking like this one will be the same. Very boring grind and it takes me away from everything else in the game because I have to log into an alt every hour to get nothing. How have we not implemented bad luck protection as a standard yet?

Ah yes, peak enjoyability.

Not getting any loot or getting just 1 green wild card from killing the rares (which sadly spawn once an hour) is terrible. My work shift lasts 10 hours a day so that already limits how much time I can invest in the game despite staying awake till late night. But on top of that the event being 1 week long and spawns happening only every 1 hour, limits the chances of getting all rewards even more. And to make matters worse, there is this UNFIXED YET BUG, where you get 0 loot from boss if having 10 wildcards. :frowning_face:

Portals should spawn every 5-10 minutes. An hour was way too long for a week long event.
