There have been enough transfers from Grobb over the years that I think it would do something (I remember when STRENGTH transferred and dominated the Horde pvp scene, I had a lot of fun disrupting their pool parties, heh.)
Anyway I reject the notion that no one would transfer over. Perhaps there are some roleplayers there who would want something else than to be in a megaserver where no one respects roleplaying. Regardless, no one here is asking for Benediction sized transfers. Just an extra 300 people on both sides would be enough, honestly.
The alternative is most of DD transferring off the server and unbalancing some other server (like Grobb). If you would like an extra 600 Alliance though perhaps we can work something out…
Grob wouldn’t notice a measly 600 allies added. That’s how dead your server is bruh.

I don’t even think it’s that many. Honestly at this point leaving may be the only solution. I know our guild has talked about it, some can’t/don’t want to pay for the transfer, but support has increased in the last month or so
And this here is a remarkable example of why DD considers Grobbulus to be a toxic cesspit that doesn’t roleplay. If Mr. Fusho represents the best of Grobb then probably we are better off here and not there.
I do recall when DD came to be, they would constantly try to poach people on the Grobbulus Forums/Reddit. Naturally, that caused folks to not like each other.
I would also assume its because DD was given the short stick because Blizzard failed when the demand for RPPVP servers were ignored. We fought tooth and nail for RPPVP. They gave us one. Everyone settled there who wanted RPPVP. They waited way too long to release DD, and because of that, all the RPPVPers were already committed to Grobb.
Frustrations directed at the wrong people, but for all I know there were two small handfuls of people just verbally attacking/harrassing each other on the forums/reddits that caused it.

I don’t think it’s helpful for this thread to turn into a fight between grob and DD. This thread was started to talk about population issues on DD.
Although I can see why grob might be annoyed by this thread. TBC population is likely to thin out as the game progresses and if I were a grob resident I wouldn’t appreciate people trying to get transfers off my server.
Three horde guilds transferring off next week
Supposedly one to Grobbulus, others to Earthfury
This may cause the collapse of what remains of DD’s Horde pop

What? Which ones? That’s terrible news
Cult of Aurum to Grobb, suboptimal and Dynasty elsewhere (Earthfury I think)
There goes the rest of the Horde. Inc new one faction server.
Wow dynasty and cult are leaving?
Guess its up to me to defend this server from the alliance.

I recently talked to a GM through the support on this (since the community manager is currently AWOL and it’s not like anyone actually looks at the feedback option.
Game Masters are unable to adjust server related issues, nor can we provide any information related to the servers. As someone that recently transferred from a server that went nearly full horde I get the frustrations. You best bet still is to continue posting on the community forums like you have been doing and providing feedback. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/000021518
I know this has been frustrating, but I hope this information helps.
I fell that for DD the only answer for it to actually survive is to merge it with Grobb.
There is not enough population willing to move through free transfers. There isn’t enough new folks.
And it’s the same for other servers as well.
I expect that Blizzard will just let them die and force folks to transfer (spend that $$$) to actually play the game for an issue that let happen and won’t do anything to fix.
Honestly probably a good thing DD is dead. My sub has been canceled since I refuse to pay to transfer.likely a good thing for my mental health
That would be great if they did connect DD with Grob but I am not expecting that for a looong time.

Yeah I agree.
Especially because it’s not like Blizzard has any lights on at the place right now.
Seems they are determined to just let servers die off and people quit or pay up the funds to play.
I do recommend to everyone if they want, to try to keep giving feedback through in-game system and the forums.
Not sure what else to do. I guess start tweeting at Blizzard since I’ve seen them take action on stuff like that before.
Don’t call him a skelle, he’s a god dang corpseboy
DD, dead but not forgotten.

This post sure aged well. LOL
Situation is getting worse. I doubt FCM will do anything at this point.
