All these efforts do is provide ammo to those who would dismiss all issues of actual, credible harm and harassment. When someone parrots, “Get Woke, Go Broke” or other similar trite, these Helen Lovejoy-esque antics just add fuel to that fire.
In short, this is all very counter productive in terms of accomplishing anything that actually addresses any of the issues that unleashed this chaos.
People are also just kinda sick of it. They’ve done this song and dance before with music before the 2000s, now we’re doing it with video games, for things that aren’t even offensive by any metric.

I think Classic TBC will be my last experience with WoW and then I’m out for good. The game is in shambles and they’re removing fart jokes and innuendos because the people that work there can’t keep their hands to themselves.
There’s very little that is even fun in the game anymore. You know the game sucks when almost every class in the game was better and more fun to play a decade ago than it is today. It’s probably time to change my forum avatar to my Classic main anyways.
