I’ve seen Matcauthon twice and Mddsteve once and they’re not even on the same server as me. Both are players I’ve debated with on the Classic WoW forum. If I was more active, I’d probably see them again.

You give only two names out of how many people playing classic? And only one of those two names you saw more than once?

It is too bad that blizzard won’t just create a single snowflake server with right click report and the rest of the servers be authentic. These sensitivity trolls have ONE goal and that is to destroy classic before it ever begins. Blizzard is too short sighted to notice unfortunately.

You’re hyper exaggerating the level of censorship this reporting system will result in. I’ve been banned three times (appealed and had my record cleaned) off these forums for saying FAR less than I have in-game, and I’ve NEVER been banned in-game.

I have to wonder what kinds of things you’re planning on saying that has you so worried? Would you prefer a system that has one person write up a report on you and that’s enough for a GM to review the report?

Funny how the authoritarians can’t handle any kind of adversity because they’re so weak that they must silence their adversity rather than face it.

He doesn’t need to worry for himself, he’s working to prevent trolls and bots from destroying the classic WoW community.

You may not see the potential for trolls to turn blizzard’s bots against the community, but we do.

I’m very well aware how easy it is to manipulate automated systems. No matter how damn good you build thrm ; humans always sort a way to abuse the mechanism.

This is only a sample of why real in game GM’s need to be the one to make the executive decision.

A click to report mechanism is fine, but the choice to silence a player must be made by a human, never a machine.

In addition any report should require the reporting player actually type up a detailed report with why a report is made.

If you can’t see the logic in this then there is no good way for you to understand.
