False reporting and automated ban

I told you that the link was earlier in the thread. Sorry but I do not bookmark every link I see. Your crisis acting is not helping your case.

Especially this part:

Your attempt to save face is not helping yours either. We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one. In the meanwhile if there is a link, I will find it. I have not yet, but I’ll take you at your word. Have a wonderful day.

what the… “save face”?
What are you even talking about?

Don’t get heated. You’re losing sight of the Post.

You’re still looking at this from the perspective of no right click reporting. In the presence of the current system someone may be less likely to troll in the first place or after trolling and being squelched less likely to offend again.

So while its use is reactive it’s existence is proactive.

I still think a GM review is still a Proactive approach. 'Cause like I said, the offense has to be made, in order for somebody to be reported

Blizzard says a lot of untrue things lately.

I totally agree that abusers will not be punished just like they are not now in retail. Anything else you feel the need to completely re-word to fit your narrative?

Nope, I think you’re doing just fine, keep it up

Since I have a thread about it: Remember when the looking for group channel went global instead of being isolated to only the main cities? Having to ignore people rather than being able to report them and let blizzard / WoW take care of it is why we don’t have a global channel for making groups anymore.

heh. still people being authoritarian tyrants bent on imposing their will on other people.

ahh well. hope you all see what we are talking about some day.

Why are you still playing the game then? If it’s been such a big issue for you, why have you been playing the dang game for the last 10+ years the system has been in place?

It must not actually be a big deal to you.

This statement always gets asked, and I always say the same thing:

I wasn’t talking to you.

It doesn’t matter who you’re talking to. This thread is open to everyone. I’d like to be proactive, when the next person thinks to post the same thing you did, they’ll receive the same answer.

with the ease of joining group finder groups for dungeons and lfr and whatnot the penalty is not anywhere near as harsh as it would be in classic.

people abuse it now in bgs and other places out of spite or trying to get a leg up on the competition.

with the systems in place to join groups that are built into the game on retail its less of a punishment.

still doesnt make it right. players shouldnt have punishment powers over other players simply put. it should be a gm only.

Simple answer is: “doesn’t mean we cannot advocate for change”.

'Cause things change all the time, as we so clearly see, in WoW
