No, you don’t. Again, why live life, if you don’t agree with it?
You can repeat this sentiment, until you’re blue in the face, but that doesn’t mean I can’t voice what I think may need some looking into. I’m not saying it MUST be. Again, I did quit WoW and only came back, when the Classic Servers were announced.
And if you truly want to stick with your guns about “quitting in order to make a statement”, why don’t you do the same?
It doesn’t make any sense. Nonsensical things over real damaging things. I came here for a DISCUSSION. We’re not all going to agree on EVERYTHING.
I abide by the CoC. And if people are breaking the CoC to harass me, I should voice that. I don’t need to stop playing, in order to do so. That’s silly. That doesn’t make any sense.
I don’t run the store, I just work there. I just listen, smile and nod because I can’t change my job. Customers still use the store though and continue to complain about it, so what do you say to them? That they can’t shop there even though it’s an optional service?

“Cant change it, it works as is, we are happy with it, sorry cant help you. You arte always free to shop elsewhere”
What if it the system is implemented in a different fashion in Classic?
There have been numerous suggestions to address the ease with which the system can be abused, including suggestions that retain the auto squelch but also include raising the threshold for the auto squelch to be applied.

Ive seen those…but you need to send that to Blizzard. Put your name to it, put it in a ticket or an email and send it to them.
I just feel like you ran out of excuses as to why we’re wrong, so now you’re gonna spam with “still playing, can’t voice an opinion” which doesn’t make any sense.
And now I’m fired because I’m creating a negative environment within the work place and losing the company money. Sorry, I’m not going to risk myself, in order to “make a point”.
I already did that and received a “canned response” amounting to nothing more than “thank you for your interest and suggestions”. I’m guessing the response you received to your suggestion was similar.
On the plus side, now I know that at least the computers at Blizzard know about those suggestions.
I’m more curious as to whether you found any of those suggestions acceptable and if not, why not?
On the matters that concern me, take this how you like…but knowing me as you do?
I tell you flatly I have given up trying. So have a great deal of others. The details dont really need to be gone into…just take it as read…for me to throw in the towel?
Whether or not Blizzard will invest the time and development resources to do it, though, is another question. I will not even begin to speculate on how difficult or time intensive it would be to do it.
I’m just looking for ways to at least reduce the potential for abuse while also trying to keep report response time as low as possible so that violators are dealt with within a reasonable time.
We’re similar (believe it or not), in some ways. I only quit WoW, when I didn’t think the company would ever offer a “Revert” system (because I disliked the Animation, Re-Vamps, Social Interactions, etc., with no way of reverting back). Now that they are, I have a new sense of hope.
