False Positive Detection

Please Please CS Help me find Human response on my Appeal i am so much upset because of this.
i got 2nd response after 3 days same as before how it is even possible that 3 people from different location gets accused at same time same reason and did same thing bought leveling boost all i want proper human investigate this please help i am stuck because getting automated replies on my appeals please someone from cs help me i asked them before buying level boost because i know someone got banned after buying boost and booster is still boosting so its not he is doing something i am 101% sure its false positive as 1 friend of friend got unbanned month ago. and he was banned to after buying level boost its my last hope from CS that i will get proper logs checked by human

You aren’t. You are getting templated responses from a human.

Blizzard doesn’t think so if you’re appealed several times, there is enough evidence in their logs. They’re not going to tell you exactly what they found though.

All responses are by humans. They just use templates.

They do investigate. They look at the logs, before giving the verdict to either upheld or lift the action. If they have said they have upheld the decision, then there was something within the logs that confirmed you were in breach of the policies.


Long story short, Blizzard doesn’t use AI or Bots to investigate and respond to appeals. They all manually do it with actual people who work at Blizzard.

Firstly, this is a player to player help forum. It is our guide here to help with navigating Blizzard support, explaining policies, etc, with the guidance of the Support Forum Agents.

Secondly, I would avoid trolling the forums. Just because you may see a YouTuber making stuff up to get views, does not mean it is actual facts.

Thirdly, the Support Forum Agents have no involvement with the appeals. They can not escalate tickets, and they can not change the outcome decision.

They didn’t.

Nobody on the forum can escalate your issue. Your only recourse is via appeal ticket - so if they have told you no more appeals then I’m afraid that’s it.

Regarding false positives - they’re honestly not very common, a very small percentage of the overall number of accounts actioned in that particular wave.

You had a thread like this over two days ago, the CS forum has no power in dealing with appeals. All appeals are handle by humans, regardless of what you read on reddit.

Your words, despite being inappropriate (calling names isn’t necessary) are simply incorrect. There’s no need to attack those who are providing you with correct information.

Account appeals are templated. They do not provide custom responses to appeals, only templates. It’s been this way for as long as I can remember.

As already mentioned, you only have one avenue to send your appeals and that’s by putting in a ticket. There are no other options.

Additionally, reopening a moderated thread IS against the rules as is discussing account actions. That’s technically two rules you’re breaking with this thread.

yes as i said i read many posts on forums i know they use templates but if you were me and know you did nothing and still get same response what would you say ?

In forums people just not going to trust me and telling me that my pc maybe have something i dont know or windows 11 have something or its maybe few months ago i did something something type of replies

why i am 101% sure its false positive is there are few people got banned for same thing buying level boost and gets the ban next day just because of this i made ticket before ban and ask about it and got this reply

Just for the sake of having point it out:

Just because you think a human will automatically do what you want isn’t true. Like with someone on a phone, you can’t talk to someone into doing something against their job rules. If their job say they can’t do X because of Y, they’re not going to do X because you talk to a human.

The myth that talking to someone will get what you want isn’t true as there isn’t a guarantee you’d get the outcome you want just because you think a human will see what you want them to see. They only go by their logs - black or white: If the logs show someone did something, they apply actions. If not, nothing will happen, and you won’t know even that they looked at your account.

I get that people prefer to imagine that the templates being used means that their issues(s) were not looked into. Unfortunately, if it were truly “automated”, you’d not be waiting for 4 days for a reply. It would be instant.

Yes, I get that you feel you’ve done nothing wrong. I get that you took a chance with boosting and that there was likely some illicit gold at play (as you have zero way of being 100% sure) and ended up getting caught up in a mess.

However, none of that actually matters on the forums. There are NO, zero, absolutely none of the people who handle appeals here. They are ONLY available via ticket.

Tickets are your ONLY recourse. I’m capitalizing the words as you don’t seem to feel that it matters. Like posting here will change the outcome of a team who isn’t here reading your posts.

I’m sorry, but this can only be handled via the appeals ticket.

You say you know you have done no wrong. The correct words should be “I believe I have not done anything wrong” Just because you believe it to be factual that you say you’ve not done anything wrong.

Blizzard has evidence that you did do something wrong. And no rule lawyering and trying to shift blame to someone or something else is going to help your case.

the gold i paid him i made from auction house with professions so my gold wasn’t illicit and for the booster i traded gold is known by us since dragonflight and he is still boosting people.

i know but you know we are humans and we believe in hope even 0.0000001% chance or even 0% someone from higher authorities might see this maybe and ask the proper investigation department to check properly.

So you are saying 3 different people from 3 different locations bought boost (2 known each other) and 1 stranger doing cheats and hacks ? and why on earth someone using unauthorized cheats codes or hacks make ticket before ?

ye they have evidence of something never happened all i can say is because of getting levels to faster the system thinks i am doing something wrong and punished me

It’s actually still a zero percent chance. The forums are not a place to plead your case.

You are just continuing to post about an account action which isn’t even allowed. So breaking the rules to try and prove your innocence, seems silly to me.

Even with the appeals process, it is not a place to plead the case. It is their incase Blizzard has made a mistake.

As had been said before, no one on the forums handle the appeals or part of the that team look at the forums whatsoever. THe blues here ain’t link to it, nor can they tell the appeal what they should do.

If the appeal team said no more appeals will be looked at, then that’s their final answer.

You have done the two things you can do:

  • You have appealed and are continuing to do so, politely, I assume. You can appeal until they tell you that you are risking your Bnet account by crossing to GM harassment with too many tickets on it.
  • You can consult the Information Desk that is the CS forum! Here. THe most that can happen here is some clarification on how to appeal, and you MIGHT get a blue who can shed some light on your infraction. You have done that and there is nothing left to do but see if that happens.

Even if a Blue sheds light on the nature of the infraction, it won’t change the fact this only gets appealed or overturned by tickets. Just be prepared that for Anti-Cheat penalties they really don’t share much info on what, when, and how they caught someone.
