Apologies, misread your post!

All you and your friend can do is keep filing appeals until they tell you not to. A customer service rep may be able to go into more detail with you, but not so much your friend. You can keep filing appeals until they tell you they will no longer look at them.

You won’t get banned for buying the in game boost. That much I am certain.

When you appeal, the person who investigates your appeal, will investigate the logs before they give you an answer on whether you have have been in found in breach or not. They all investigate the logs.

They did not purchase the boost from the Shop, they paid someone to level boost them.

yeah in game boosts are safe even i made ticket before to be safe but still got banned i am just scared right now because my friend is still banned and he did tried his best to explain and the other person also banned something is wrong at that place i hope i wont get ignored in busy ticket system

Its a unsupported transaction so if something goes south you wont get ur gold back.

I would not call it “safe” as much as I would state that it is an unsupported transaction and Blizzard will not assist if anyone is scammed.

What they will do though, is action anyone involved in the transfer of illicitly gained gold.

I see! Apologies for missing that.

Doing anything like that for in game gold is very dangerous. Especially if, as mentioned, it’s gold from an unofficial source.

Its me traded gold and made by my self with professions so no any illicit gold involved the person boosted me and other unknown guy is still boosting but me and the other person got banned

The tricky part here from a policy perspective is that isn’t necessarily true. If the booster then takes your money and uses it for RMT or similar then you have essentially financed RMT (again from a policy perspective, not saying you wanted to). They are taking a much harder stance on this since just punishing the boosters themselves wasn’t working. Now they punish anyone in the path of the money flow.

So that means you as a 'boostee" have to be careful and know where the booster uses the gold. If you cannot safely do that, don’t use that booster or their service. Everyone knows it is a risk when you pay for a service to some other random player or group that the group could be doing bad stuff behind the scenes.

I simply don’t trade with anyone…if I need to purchase something, I simply do it through the AH in-game. If I need something crafted, I do it myself…or use the Craft station or request a craft through there.
Sadly, I just don’t take things from folks, nor do I even have the trade ability active …I actually disabled it
Unfortunately, there’s just waaay too many possibilities where I could make a trade, gain illegal gold or…with my luck, gain items which was bought with illegal gold and next thing I know, I’m banned.
Truly sad times when we can’t even do trades without the fear of dirty gold because you truly don’t know who do/doesn’t buy illegal gold or could possibly have dirty gold.
I know I’m probably being overly safe…but with my luck …it would happen, lol.
I wish there was other methods to prevent this form of illegal play…but unfortunately it’s getting out of hand.
Best of luck to you, hope it works out… hopefully not more to the story that your leaving out, but only you know that answer.

I didn’t accuse you of doing anything. All I said is that when Blizzard does look at the appeals, they do investigates the logs before giving you a decision to either upheld or lift the action.

You do know streamers do not get away with breaching the rules, and there has been non-streamers who have been mistakenly actioned and had actions reversed.

I agree but that guy i bought boost is well known and few friends bought boost from him in Dragonflight and he is still boosting right now and my account is banned for cheat/hacks not rmt
Now i am regreting buying boost from player instead of shop to save some gold seriously and its not just me i know 3 more people that got same account closed 1 is my friend and 2 randoms all got banned just few hours after buying boost so its 100% not safe at all

I’m not the OP miss/sir…lolz.

I totally understand how Blizzard appeals work. I’ve never had one(I do everything I can do I never will), but I read the forums from time to time and see folks talking about being “false accused” for doing this and that…9 times out of 10, a Blue comes on and there laundry is aired out… sadly.

I play 100percent legit…I use a few add-ons, and at that…it’s very little. Total of 9 add-ons to be exact.

I was simply commenting, I hope OP gets things sorted out and was a mistake.
I also hope blizzard can find a way to figure out a way for the innocent folks trading not have to take a hit for something unknowing…but it sounds very difficult.
Best of luck my friend, hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Banned for cheats/hacks…I see, my bad.
I, for some reason, thought it was for the whole having/receiving illegal gold. My apologies.

Only thing I can guess, there Warden secure found a illegal program running at the time of you playing WoW. It could have been something you wasn’t even using with WoW but just running. Also, it probably wasn’t from that day…was something from a few days to a month ago. Again…I am only guessing, theory guessing here…don’t take what I think gold, lolz.
Could have been a hack that the runner was using to boost y’all and you guys were in participation.
Hopefully you will hear something back soon…
But, your best bet is to appeal politely and wait for there reply.

Best of luck to you, hope it gets worked out.
