The problem is it was hard on the PTR but doable so they shadowbuffed EVERYTHING between the PTR and LIVE, basically doubling the hp of all mobs and increasing damage on alot of things

Agreed. Also at 36/36 during legion and even remembering the cadence of the Agatha fight after two/three rounds of imps you should be in P2 but damn it’s looking like its going to take this guy 14 rounds bc she has 141 k hp which is unfeasible. A scaling dps % buff on the boss at this rate and its just…Not even fun at this point.

Funny this is the fight I’m starting with on my fury. Closest I have managed is almost 50% with a full TW set. I’m going to hit my head against it bc I want everything but I do hope they tweak the numbers a bit.
Heh much better than me. Altho I don’t have a full TW set. At this point, I have given up on them. Not worth bashing my face in during finals. If they were a bit more tuned I would give them a fair shake.
Way to go Blizzard. This company literally can’t do anything right anymore.

I tried with her SL gear and the imps heal her close to100% b4 I can get them down.

I’m not arguing that there seems to be some definite scaling issues…but it seems there are a lot of people who fundamentally don’t get that MAGE TOWER WAS HARD AND NOT SOMETHING MOST COMPLETED.
It is NOT something that Blizzard threw out expecting you to dabble with it a few times and then faceroll…it’s meant to be something only the best of the best do.
Even at the very end with Legion when you had top of the line gear and a literal busted artifact infinitely scaling up, the fights were easier than when it first came out but in no way free (minus Agatha who actually was free if you did it at a time when the command building was also up but I digress).
If anything, this is going to be harder precisely because we are little more than a bundle of stats and a handful of talents…nearly every other form of temporary/borrowed power is gone which was NOT the case during Legion too.
It’s quite possible Blizzard will end up doing another tuning pass…but don’t expect it to be so gutted that you’ll go in there and play like your medicore/subpar selves and clear it.

it is impossible, they buffed all the mobs health to the point you cant kill them before they get netherstorm off, gg blizz

Galabris I don’t know if you understand the base complaint of what is being discussed. It isn’t the fact that it is hard. Its hard bc of the mechanics and class mastery. But this…This isn’t even compatible. The auto attacks/casts of the mobs and health are not conducive to a good experience.
I’ve done this challenge 36/36 times with multiple repetitions until I mastered them. Yes I did them during 7.3 so go ahead and ignore me bc I did it then even if it was intended. But, a frostbolt from xylem should NOT do 1/6 of your hp in damage. Due to the fact of scaling our hp is brought so low that their most basic attacks are killing us. Or if we survive (like in agatha personally) we won’t survive bc of the scaling damage. Due to the item lvl of 50 we can’t outscale it so don’t say to bring better gear btw. My fury warrior who I can heroic raid with can’t even get her past 80% bc she has 141 k hp thus not resetting her stacking % damage buff. I can clear all the imps without a puddle but I can’t widdle her down.
To be clear I want it to be a challenge. I want to have fun. But this isn’t even remotely possible. Have you personally tried it yet?

Full Timewalking set as well. I’ve gotten to 50% three times now, but even in what should be bonkers strong gear I run out of steam around the fifth or sixth add waves if I don’t have a CD for it. And that’s with generally saving CDs specifically for adds: I wasn’t getting very far without doing that.
I think it may be possible for me currently, but it’s going to come down to pinpoint planning (I can interrupt adds on every wave but wave “x” must save for Agatha, one wave “z” I can only use one of two CDs that usually get paired together), and probably a little luck. I can’t imagine how this fight would actually go for an average player, much less one without a Timewalking set, 22 gems, old enchants, etc.

they definitely did last minute tuning oh my lord. Ptr took me twice to finish it. As well as twice back in legion. But now dear god.
