No, they’re not. It’s quite obvious they’re upset that they were scaled one and are expected to play differently in tower. It’s not quite clear how lack of artifacts, legion legendaries, or lack of covenants will be affecting players yet.
That doesn’t mean it’s impossible, I read lvl 50s were doing it?
Thrash one was the go-to for the early stages before you out geared it
You’re able to enter and attempt it as soon as level 50. All gear is normalized so leave 50, level 60, LFR and Mythic raid gear is all the same. It’s all based off of skill at this loint
Takes about 5-15 mins to get in. Was hanging around here to see how the mage tower launched to see if it was worth trying out. It isn’t and that’s all I needed to know.

Ehhh not entirely true. If it’s similar to TW scaling, then gear does matter vis-a-vis secondaries. Also I think on PTR people said abilities are locked out if you’re not over some level (50-60). Not sure what it’s currently like so cannot comment.

I remember the guardian druid one was pretty much impossible w/o the leggo bracers. It took me over 100 tries to do it w/o them. The irony is an hour after I finished it the bracers dropped.
My guess is scailing is fubard for any gear outside of Legion content, so if people have leggos and other gear from Legion it would probably be best to use it over Shadowlands gear.
It was scaled originally around Legion Borrowed power . Let us have our legion borrowed power back for it while it is up be it the artifact weapon , Legion legendaries or legion tier gear if people still have it .
It’s scaled to level 50 legion. Everyone gets scaled to the same thing. Like normal time walking. 300ilvl gear and 150ilvl gear gets tuned to 225ilvl gear (for example) - sockets and trinkets are the big differences. Think we may have misunderstood each other on this
Isn’t the last ability we get is the last tier at level 50? Only thing we may miss is the rank 2s we get at 58
Keep mind that you will not be able to benefit from Legendary items or any other expansion-specific benefits like Covenant abilities when taking on these challenges, so plan accordingly!
