Politics are inherent to all of our lives. There is no escaping it. It’s always been there. You just didn’t notice. You’ll be hard pressed to find media without any politics in it. Against extremely popular media both star trek and star wars were extremely political in their first iterations. But because you didn’t notice (because you were likely a child when you first saw them). You didn’t care. The og star wars series is literally inspired by anti-vietnam war sentiments. Anti-american imperialism. The protagonists are inspired by the freaking Viet-cong. It had a near flawless female lead. It is 100% “woke” by todays standards.

Except most of that stuff in the past, laid the foundations of the entertainment complexes we have today.
These new works are just an embarrassment, a footnote of fanatical failure in the making.
I just dont want every movie to feel like a weird spin off of everything else. You try to homogenize everything nothing feels special and loses it spark.
When you try to make sure every form of entertainment appeals to every demo no one is going to be happy.
Some people like sappy stuff
Some people like gory stuff
Some people like secretive stuff.
Some like everything.
But let there be niches or specialization. Barbie didnt make a ton of money because it appealed to men and teen boys everywhere. Its was women and daughters with dates that wanted to see it.
