Faerin's actually cool and I will die on that hill

You heard me.

Cmon that quest where she’s playing a board game with Anduin was actually really cute for both of them.

Ya’ll keep saying she’s a sue and ya’ll clearly don’t know what a mary sue is.

Honestly my only nitpick is a little bit of her voice acting is wonky but that’s mostly the “I am just explainin what to do gameplay wise during this quest” and that’s not very fun to voice act. When its story voice acting that nitpick ain’t there.

I rarely give a dang about WoW Human Lore but these guys are neat

She’s fine. Just the campaign writing with anduin in that zone with her is super mid and boring.

Anduin’s trauma is not really shown, Shadowlands left a lot of it out - dude was in wars before he turned into a death knight and killed some no name NPC. Nor is there much of him learning and growing from the trauma. There is also no big moment when he overcomes it etc, or even a well written touching moment.

Marvel managed more feeling in that one avengers movie where Thor got depressed and fat. Then realising he was still worthy when the hammer still worked for him through it all etc. That was with minimal content and setup, just decent writing.

I get what they were trying to do. They just did it really mid.

Got nothing on the anduin and wrathion friendship at the inn, also playing board games over the entirety of mop.

They’re neither human nor elf. They’re arathi. So you’re ok to give a dang

we had people calling The Acolyte “woke” these people just hate on anything that is modern and inclusive.

You can die on that hill i hate everything about her from her 12 year old voice to the suggested love intrest and possible villain she could be. Constantly risking your own life risks other peoples life too.

With all the drama surrounding her, I figured I’d have run into her by now. One bar from level 75. I really thought she was some sort of prominent character. As usual, general chat making mountains out of molehills…

A woman standing near Anduin? Must be a love interest!

She was good IMO, I like her character design, and personality. I do feel that the bugs and Earthen got better overall all development, but I suspect by the end of this expansion that the Athari will be fully flushed out. Also I really want them to flat out say, yes they are Half-Elves. As D&D moves away from one of the coolest ‘species’ in fantasy, WOW has finally got a bunch of them, not one guy they gets mentioned as a motivation for an important character but has been mostly left alone.

Yeah it’s actually ridiculous

Everyone knows his real love interest is Wrathion

Its not the standing near each other. Its the way they talk to each other, the way he looks at his hand after she channeled light through both of them. The games they’re playing with each other. Her name is royalty. And so much more

She’s alright but if she’s gonna insist on not needing an arm I want her to replace the shield with a flamethrower.

The Light will shield you. The fire will cleanse the non-believer spiders.

I mean, it’s a possibility that they are setting up a romance, but I wouldn’t say it’s set in stone. I mean, for looking at his hand, it seems much more likely it’s because of the fact that he had the light going through him again than being love stuck that she held his hand.

I mean I don’t really know enough about her or she has not done much in the story to make me know if she is cool or not.

Like, she has not had any chance to be built up. So making a judgement about her for me would be silly.

That wasn’t excitement about a woman holding his hand. It was him feeling some connection to the light again. Maybe it will lead to love one day but their relationship at this point isn’t romantic. It’s more like therapy.

Also for everyone going on about AnduinxFaerin and AnduinixWrathion:

Anduin is a confirmed man of culture who is into the waggle. Also I think it’s noted he thought a dwarf woman was cute too.

I am more than willing to say a lot of what people claim is woke is people blowing this out of proportion but The Acolyte, absolutely woke.

The part that makes it obvious there is the whole plot line (that shouldnt exist he trained and studied with Velen he knows the light doesnt Abandon you) that she will help him work through hisnmind block habe a good cry together and then cry when he summons the light at a big point.
If they dont end up together they’ll be the biggest annoying besties on azeroth that makes me wanna burn more than just a tree this time

I don’t even know what woke is anymore because people view on what wokeness is seems to not be the same.

I hate censorship of all forms, I want a story to offend me, or make me feel things. If wokeness is censorship to protect me from being trigger than I hate it with a passion.
