Naw it’s more or less the same. Which is an issue itself. Other then CGI getting better. Most stories are just the same stories. True innovation seems rare. Everyone needs to follow that heroes journey.

Just saying a lot of times people declare a movie that’s just a movie to be some work of anti-woke excellence, projecting a political stance onto a movie that may not have much of one.
I mean, I was referencing the stuff that is written and produced explicitly to be anti-woke (which is different than shock value) Like when Daily Wire decided to make movies and such, and the only half decent stuff was projects that they managed to pick up that no one else was buying.
Leia’s main fault was she was headstrong to a point she would put herself in danger multiple times to get rescued by Han, Chewie or Luke. Without thinking of their desire to save her putting them in harms way. Sometimes it worked out for her but it was more sheer luck than actual flawless character.
She grew to appreciate Han and Luke as a team but also grew into a General who worked on her stubborness without putting her troops in peril.

Just the setting, which was: a large technological empire going after a small group of freedom fighters. There was no political commentary about Vietnam itself. Furthermore, the empire was inspired (mostly) by Germany, not America.
Of course, you could argue that democracy versus dictatorship is political. But that is the absolute default in the West, so it is more of a common ground than other topics, where the parties are at odds.

Deadpool 3 100% had “the message” which is basically just anything vaugely progressive. That’s really all woke-ness means atm. I mean it literally had an overpowered bald girlboss villian who the protags were no match for in a 1 on 1 or even 2 on 1 fight.

I feel like the model could use some improvement but the overall idea of the character is pretty cool. By model I don’t mean any thing that would change the character in any way I am talking pure aesthetics. The way the shield fits makes the missing arm look more like a bug then an actual thing until it was mentioned in the story line i just thought the game was glitched. While amputee don’t need bandages I think just to help remove that glitched look and make it stick in more a bandage on the end of the arm may help. Or any other mind tricks they can play. Currently the idea of a missing arm and the polygon style of the game doesn’t seem to mesh together well without making it just look like a bug.
