I just want to tack on to this that for those looking for routes, keystone guru is currently my go to and a pretty good resource when matched with the in-game addon Mythic Dungeon Tools, MDT:

The game is the least tank-friendly itâs ever been. I wouldnât step foot in a regular dungeon right now, say nothing of Heroic or Mythic.
The minute you donât take the âright pathâ or pull one extra group of mobs, you get votekicked. No thanks.
If Iâm to tank itâll be for a fully curated group of friends or guildies where thereâs no toxicity.
I understand, I wasnât arguing no tanks are completing mythic+. That would be silly?
It would incentivize others to tank, or for existing tanks to pug.

I know how to fix this.
Make a warlock tank spec, make a shaman tank spec. Easy.
Because it worked so well when most of the new classes have tank specs and the existing hybrids mostly donât use theirs.
Iâm half joking, but that would be cool to see.

Warlock tanking was so much fun in the past =D
Their is no solution. People can gear the way they want to. If you want to run M+ tank it yourself.

Actually it costs money to develop new specs. They need to justify that in advance by doing research that shows enough players would be doing this to be worth it.
And make it all back on the backend in new and renewing subs.
They would need numbers that would show that more than a few existing warlocks and shamans would want it.
i feel like when folks complain about lack of tanks, itâs similar to folks complaining about having nobody to date.
âi want a tank whoâs âxâ class, âxâ ilevel, and knows their way through the dungeon.â
that sort of thing.

You ever hear of a new xpac that introduced a new class/spec that didnât do well? People here eat up ânewâ.
Holy crap does prot pal ever need help. Itâs really only one or two steps removed from a DK at this point in anything challenging with a tiny fraction of the self healing. Itâs been squishy in the past, but wow right now itâs worse than its ever been I think. Maybe remove WoG and SOTR from the global CD and that may do it.
Tanks do homework, give them a cookie for it.
Prior to Mythic+, tanks used to get a shot at rare dungeon mounts from the bag they get from the Call to Arms indicator on Heroic Dungeons.
That was removed, because even tho it encouraged tanking, other specs complained since it was rare, if ever, other roles would show up and become eligible for a bag.
So now, we get gold, and at most, augment runes.

The solution is go to your spec tabs and swap to bear OP.
There you have added to fixing your own problem for yourself.

A potential solution: Give tanks and heals 100% chance to get loot from normal/heroic/mythic & m+ runs. I am 100% sure those populations would increase. leave dps a 1/4 odds for loot, maybe 1/3 odds if population inverts too much.

Maybe the earthen have tank specs. Maybe they have bonus armor being stone and all. I have no idea what their racial is yet.
