Looking to get back into serious raiding again after playing solo for a few years. I got out of corporate America, and have a lot more time on my hands now thankfully. Unfortunately, playing without a fun and active core group just gets repetitive beyond belief.

I’m looking for a guild that has a fun and active core group that I can scale into quickly. Significant experience with RDPS and healing. Comfortable with MDPS as well, but my only Heroic experience is with my Resto Druid and Destro Lock. Open to playing anything though, more concerned about having a good community to have a couple pints with and burn some stuff down.

Hi there Ayahuasca!

I am recruiting for a guild named Assault. We’re an AotC+ guild which is currently 4/8H in LoU at the moment. We also have been doing tons of keys this season since they are a lot more fun than they were last season :stuck_out_tongue: After we earn AotC, we sometimes (very casually) dabble in Mythic, earning anywhere from 0-3 kills in Mythic depending on tier.

Right now I have a very strong need for a ranged DPS that can flex into healing as needed (probably 60-90% rDPS, 10-40% healing) which sounds like might be right up your alley if you’re interested in a flex role.

Hi Ayahuasca, I think our guild might be exactly what you’re looking for. I’m Ish from Knights of the Alliance on Lightbringer.

Knights of the Alliance is recruiting all people, all specs, all roles, for our raiding, Mythic+, and PvP teams. We are always looking for like minded individuals to join our guild, whether it be for raiding, M+, or just to find a group of individual to hang out with that are like-minded. KotA has been around since the early days of Vanilla WoW and we have raiding in every tier since that time, attempting or beating every raid as it was current content. Every so often, as with anyone with a life, we have backed off raiding due to real life events or because an expansion sucked (looking at you BFA). We have consistently been a top ten guild on the server with this last expansion hitting a top five each raid tier. However, as always, our goal has never been to reach these heights, they are just obtainable with the right group of individuals around us. As such, here are the rules for KotA members -

  1. We were all prior military. As such, we tend to act like it. We bark orders and we expect things to be done when we say it. But that also includes all the fun stuff. If you were ever in the military, you know exactly what I’m talking about. However, with 4 raid groups, every group is different with different vibes. I highly recommend speaking with the raid leader of that group to understand exactly what the vibes are for that group.
  2. We swear. A lot. Actually, an obscene amount. If that hurts your psyche, then we aren’t the guild for you.
  3. We are also a family guild. My dad, my mom, my three older brothers, my two little brothers, and my sister all play WoW and are all in this guild. Once upon a time, we also boasted about having my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin all in guild as well. Those familiar relationships tend to grow towards people who join our guild, but especially with those who have been in the military.
  4. Because 1 and 3, we also tend to give everyone around us a lot crap. We will trash talk you if you screw up a pull. We give you crap if you fall on the elevator boss. Expect to have a lot of fun while in guild but expect that fun to come at your expense.
  5. We are a family. As such, we help each other out. We farm materials if you need to level your professions, we help you out if you are trying to get a specific item, we bring cauldrons, feasts, potions etc. From the moment you join, expect us to treat you as your family would treat you.

  7. Which brings me to our final rule - If you sign up for something, we expect you to be there. We understand things come up and we know that real life is far more important that WoW, but we just ask that you give us a heads up if something is happening and you’re gonna be late or won’t be able to show up. We aren’t heartless, you know.

RAIDING (8/8N; 6/8H)

We are currently looking for skilled healers.

We raid twice-a-week, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11pm ET. Our primary goal is AotC each season. We sometimes dabble in the first couple of bosses of Mythic for fun later in the season if everyone is up for it but we have no intention of progressing too far into Mythic.

Respecting the difficulty of Heroic and some Mythic, using my background in data analysis, I developed a system last season in which players receive a letter grade based on parse data and survivability. Thus far, this system has been incredibly successful as players get a data-driven representation of their performance and how they can improve, if necessary. Also, with the difficulty of Heroic, this system also prevents carrying as players are required to maintain a grade of B- or above in order to raid during boss that we are progressing.

Keep in mind that we offer a great deal of support to assist players with any improvements they need. We’ve seen players go from a C- to an A in a short period of time!

Lastly, the other benefit of this system is it accurately tracks players’ attendance on a boss-attempt basis. Which then leads to attendance affecting a player’s eligibility in receiving loot, ensuring that those who are raiding consistently have a better chance at receiving loot.

 
 
MYTHIC+
We encourage players to run Mythic+ dungeons each week. We have several players that run Mythic+ dungeons across a wide range of levels, including a handful of players that run high-level keys.

Hey Aya,

If you are interested in a “later in the evening” raid schedule, you may enjoy a guild like ours — small, close knit, but fun! I run this guild with my husband as my Co-GM. However, we are a Pacific Time based guild and it seems there is a shortage of guilds on that coast, but it does suit some MST/CST/EST players that work second shift, have spouse/kids to tend to, or simply are night owls. Currently we have roughly ~50 active members that make up roughly about ~170 characters (some are admitted altoholics!).

If raiding is what you’re looking for, we have a handful of spots available on our Mythic raiding team, Olympians — they would be running on TUE/THUR from 8 PM to 11 PM Pacific for Liberation of Undermine. Many of our folks from the Mythic team also run (on alts/main) our Heroic raiding team, Prophets — on WED/FRI from 8 PM to 11 PM Pacific. We also occasionally run an open PUG Normal raid on Sundays (Pacific Time). Right now we’re looking to start to build a healthy bench for these raid teams as well, which helps those with limited time to access that content on the occasion they are needed to fill spots.

Aside from raiding, we constantly run delves and dungeons and there are several M+ runners and M+ static teams in our guild to go through that journey. We are also a social guild and encourage everyone to participate in Discord (our guild chat isn’t as active admittedly, as is with most guilds) which is our main hub for all our events! We host things like Cards Against Humanity, Truth or Dare, Pictionary, or TV/Movie watch parties too! There is always a few folks sitting in Discord to chat with too (mostly afternoons and evenings of course cuz we’re adults and work!), but not so many that it overwhelms.

We are in need of Ranged DPS and Healers.

Risen Anarchy has a wide range of players from veterans to newcomers. We have been around since TBC. Average age is 30+ and drama free. So it is a terrific place for those that are interested in joining our raid and mythic + teams. We were all seasoned raiders that pushed CE progression back in the day. Those that join our guild can enjoy a N-S-R-G: Non-Sweaty-Social-Raiding-Guild environment.

The bonds of friendship that were created over the last 20 years from our strong guild culture and fun adventures persisted stronger than a raid flask. We hope to build new friendships while fortifying the existing ones. We provide consumables, repairs, crafting items, Discord community, and offer a unique guild reward system for our members.

We are looking to have people running mythic+, and weekly raids. We are currently 5/8H and 8/8N LOU, and looking to push into mythic raiding. Last season we were currently 8/8H, 4/8M and progging on Princess. And quite a few of us are already KSM & KSH. We raid Tuesday & Thursday (7:30PM CST - 10:30PM CST) with a 20-30 person balanced raid roster. Come experience the progression with us!
