You’re not allowed to deviate from the norm or their intended way of you playing their game if you deviate from that you are bad and must be punished
This.
Imagine going to a restaurant and ordering food, but with special instructions. Like say, you don’t like a certain sauce or whatever. So you order your food, it comes out and you’re enjoying your meal. Then all of a sudden, the chef comes out of left field and drop kicks you in the face and tells you to get the fart out of his restaurant because he doesn’t like the way you’re enjoying his food.
That’s the business model of Blizzard in a nutshell.
Yes guildies will get punished in this scenario.
I do think this scenario is few and far between and you just got to accept that your buddy who dosen’t want to level won’t be leveling with you.
except both were in X.2

since wen has afking for 3 hours then being max level been “fun”
maybe you should go try idle heros or some cookie clicker game.
Thank you. It was a question I asked myself
do you not have ANY OTHER CHARECTER? a 110, a 120, a 115 you left at drustvar?
Really your ONLY charecter is a 111 twink?
except they have… do you forget they literally added a report feature for people selling M+ and PVP carries in the group finder, while also saying that you could be banned for it if they did.
how so? game devs have done this for decades “oh players are abusing something we didnt intend, lets fix it”
Tol barad, and wintergrasp.

There is no queue for WG or TB.
Flying on a plane for 8 hours to go on vacation is not fun for some people either. It’s the destination that is. Boosting is the equivalent of someone offering you to get to your destination in 1/3rd the time at the same cost, might just cost you some monopoly money.
Granted, some people enjoy the travel as much as the destination, but after doing the same thing a few times, you get sick of it and want to just get there. That’s how I feel about leveling. Was somewhat enjoyable the first 1 or 2 times, but now I’m tired of it. Let me get geared up and dive into end game sooner.
The other players do not have to buy if they don’t want to, and yes, selling services to willing customers for gold is, in fact, fun. That gold then can be spent on more fun.
Do you want to just be boosted automatically? Like a couple hours of gameplay is just too much for you?
Just like many of the changes Blizzard made in the past, like adding pathfinder, don’t know a single person who ever complained about getting around the map too fast…
It’s just what Blizzard wants to do to make the game more grindy and stretch out subscriptions any way they can and steer people towards the cash shop to buy level boosts so the buff doesn’t effect them.
Battle for Azeroth is a mobile game on PC, they are artificially increasing the grind and making people wait longer so they will buy into the microtransactions.
This is why I will never resub to current WoW not for 8.2 not for the next expansion, the only version of WoW I can stand anymore is Classic WoW when that finally comes out because it has no cash shop and no waiting around, your always playing and always grinding and always getting rewards, no xp nerf and no worrying about who’s in your party.
yes there is, if you try to enter the zone it queued you.
i mean not like there has been forum posts since tbc asking for flying removed.
Or people having a massive point of classic being that you had to travel places and explore.
You don’t get to decide what’s everyone’s definition of fun. Bye, white knight.
well if you wanna just afk in a game, play an idle game.
