Evoker set look

It would be amazing if we were getting new colors but the wording of the post doesn’t indicate that. You’re just making an assumption. They re-used the same colors in season 4 of Dragonflight so its an established pattern.

I mean, your point is ALSO missing the point. Fated Seasons go over every raid, meaning that players will still have easy access to ALL 3 seasons of gear beyond the PvP/Elite PvP colors.

This Season 4 Tier is primarily for the Creation Catalyst and for the Vault’s drops.

But given their wording it does seem like the intention IS to make new re-colors. But regardless players will be able to get S1 Drops super easy during S4. Same as the other raids.

I mean, it’s not confirmed that the colors are being re-used. So it’s not really an established pattern, since we’ve only had 1 fated season before. Which SL fated season didn’t get a unique S4 tier bonus, it was just using the bonuses from the past tiers.

Their wording is that they are Remixing it, and Remixes typically include new paint. So their wording does lean toward getting that.

But regardless the only Mog advantage is what PvP/Elite PvP colors would you have liked to get, and vote for that.

Season 3 set belt doesn’t even show up on evoker dragon form; what hope did anyone have of an original set for season 4?

Would we have really wanted original sets in the long haul though?

Like Mog Runs of past raids and xpacs are very beloved feature for many. If S4 was wholly unique and not like re-colors or something, then wouldn’t that just be an entire season of FOMO that people would freak out about?

Edit:

Also,

you can infact in game right now get Normal and Heroic Tints easy AF. Go to Forbidden Reach, buy rank 2 Primalist gear, then catalyze it in Tyrhold. That’ll give you a Normal Tint. Upgrade the gear to 3/3 with the Forbidden Knowledge items, and you’ll get the Heroic Tint. Unfortunately unless they patched it, you can’t get LFR with the Rank 1 or it, so you’ll need to farm LFR to get that color. Mythic is also locked behind having to go back and do the raid. But Normal/Heroic is pretty nice.

Regular PvP will be available in 11.0 based on SL for 12 marks of honor and BfA PvP sets.

So newer Evokers are well off on that set acquisition wise.

Exactly this. The concept art showing them with flowy robes and so forth was wonderful. Silk and metal, or various elements represented. I think the Art of Dragonflight book even showed the season 1 set on Dracthyr as an alt armor.

Would be nice if we could see more than just shoulders and belts on our dragon forms though… Just saying.

Also, I played during the Beta, and you could see some of the Armor and Mog showing up on Dracthyr with glitches or even just in the appearance journal. Leading a lot of people, myself included to believe they were working on finding a way to make the mog work, but they then just quit, I guess.

Like I know the reason we can’t have chest pieces is because of the wings, but they could’ve easily made ALL chest pieces backless, have it cut out in the back by like the Dracthyr Tabards are. But keep the design/3D elements on the front of the chest piece.

Interesting, didn’t know that as I wasn’t in the beta. That’d be a reasonable assumption; my guess is they threw their arms up and said ‘to hell with it’ and just did the silly elf form as a way to try and justify saying Dracthyr have transmog.(I know the elf form was shown earlier on but it sure seems to get more attention than the Dracthyr one given the tier sets look to be designed for it and not Dracthyr)

The tabard or backless idea would be just fine, although it’d be nice to alter the color of those brown straps and gold clasps like the rest of the armor pieces.

Imma be real here. Season 2 is by far the best set of the three.

… that being said, I voted Season 1. Reason being, I didn’t play evoker until Season 2, so I don’t really have any of the season 1 sets. And I already have nearly complete season 2 sets.

And looking at how the poll is going so far, it seems like I’m not alone on this one.

I didn’t like s2 visually because the shoulders clipped a bit with the wings or made it look like it’d be rather painful to wear with wings. Also didn’t come in silver, which was unacceptable. Was intensely jealous of the white/silver set warriors got.

Assuming that either

A) S1 wins, and it’s entirely new colors in that style
-or-
B) S1 doesn’t win

but you still want the S1 colors. Then you can get Primalist Gear from the Forbidden Reach, and if you catalyze the gear in Tyrhold (no charge needed) while it is Rank 2, it will give you the Normal Color Tint, and you can then upgrade that gear to 3/3 to get the Heroic Color Tint.

So it’s at least a few full color ways you can get.

First of all, there was plenty of silver in the mythic set.

Second of all, I don’t think Blizzard realized this was a nonstarter for you–they’ve greenlit only silver armor from now on.

PLEASE give us a Green Dragon Flight, Cavern Delver’s set!!!

But it’s DARK silver and black! My armor’s light colored! :dracthyr_cry_animated:

Excellent, I approve of this decision. :dracthyr_nod:

Yours doesn’t even match right now…

The shoulders? Yeah not entirely but the belt does well enough. I usually don’t have the chestguard on at all either.

I don’t remember what these look like its not like we even see most of these.

you don’t match right meow
:dracthyr_a1:

people aren’t going to see this before voting because it’s too far down, but imagine S2 armor with the infinite dragonflight color scheme. If they’re doing recolors of the existing set, THIS is what you want!
