Everyone should have a path to progress to max ilvl gear, EVERYONE!

I very much doubt that anyone that had R14 did it on their own.

And again, you’ve swayed me. We should immediately return to classic progression. It will be better for everyone!

Really stretching the meaning of Best in Slot

Im not though?

No, you can’t, that’s not how BIS works. You can’t get the BIS from other places because it doesn’t exist outside of there.

There is a BEST IN SLOT, not anything kinda cool can go in this slot.

But it does.

You must not play classic.

Alot of the gear is copy pasted, and the gear that is best in Slot A will depend what you have in Slot B.

Also no, there is 3-4 items tied for BIS for every single slot for Warlock, and thats not even taking into account activity, and having to wear resist gear, or pvp gear for diffrent things.

I have played classic, it is a lot more boring than I remembered. And gear changing based on other slots isn’t something that stayed in classic, retail has min/maxing your crit chance and haste, corruption balance.

You are telling me wand of quiraji nobility has an equal or better? Cause everything else just seems to be the same but with lower stats and missing stam.

Your toons have awesome names!

Okay, fair enough on that point.

But I still don’t understand your point. Your example of the mage tower already exists. Raiding gets significantly easier the later you do it as you accumulate more gear outside of raids. I’m sure someone who went into heroic nya 1 month ago after getting their targeted corruptions, doing random bgs to get 460 gear, and doing solo visions will have a much easier time completing it then the same person trying to jump into Nya one month after it released.

Your example of Mage Tower where it gets easier as time progresses exists already. So what’s your point?

To op…

/clap clap clap clap

100% agree …

Make high end gear available for cash purchase… not gold in the store … then the jobless and spend time playing and those of us that pay salaries can spend cash in the store and enjoy content in our limited time while helping to keep a game available for others.

Yes it does, depending on class.

[ Skul’s Ghastly Touch]
[Dragon’s Touch] (7 stam)

But thats also a raid slot. So your right, Wands going to be a raid BIS needed.

As someone who has stepped foot in a current patch Mythic raid like 3 times in the last 4 years I don’t think being able to do WQ’s, pet battles, and random BGs for Mythic quality loot, no matter at what pace, is the right play.

Then why did you do so little raiding in BfA?

Mythic raiders are highly talented people, quick learners at games like this. People who have that potential are the minority. And even for them, it took years to get from the point where they were learning to move their first character in their first game across the screen until they were accomplished raiders.

The idea that everybody’s grandma should want to be a mythic raider and can measure up the day after they first hit max, the first time they ever played a videogame is beyond stupid.

Nobody owes it to you to have to want to do what you couldn’t even be bothered to do in BfA.

I aspire to have fun playing. People like you who are control freaks trying to force their claimed ambitions onto everybody else are downers and should rightly be ignored.

I think the thread might have derailed a little overall? Or at least away from what I believe.

My only real gripe is how Blizzard seems to be pushing harder to punish those who do not wish to participate in group content. It isn’t for me, but others who put a huge amount of time/effort in for alternative gearing.

I just believe that similar (NOT exactly the same, again, trinkets/sets/BIS are outside this realm) rewards should always be available for people doing (specifically) solo content. World quests are not content. They’re time fillers.

Right now visions are available, which are fantastic, but I also believe it shouldn’t be steamroll. More things like this in game.

Scaled, difficult, fun. Solo and/or small group (outside M+). Scenarios in Pandaria were neat. Too easy, like islands, but things that are 3man even would be great, that you could kick up the difficulty (like keys/visions) for gear and overall enjoyment.

You’re assuming you and the other fanatics on these forums represent a sizeable portion of the casual community. You don’t. Your opinions represent an even smaller % than the 1% you keep blabbering about. Claiming to be apart of a demographic doesn’t mean you get to claim the opinions of that demographic.

Yes depending on your class, that item is terrible for anyone who isn’t a shadow priest or lock.

This is what elitists say to justify their demands that they can “work” for a few minutes a week and get top rewards while everybody else deserves nothing, but should keep subscribing and playing so elitists don’t have to pay the development costs of their vanity content.

Everything everyone earns in a game of this genre is a participation reward intended to keep them participating. Everything you ever think you earned was just intended to keep you at the spigot.

The “good things” you are claiming are “casual content” are things that you wouldn’t dream of doing because they’re trash. But good enough for those people.

Yes and I said, that paticular slot, has few options outside of raid. So your right, with that slot.

However most slots that doesnt apply.

Your right,

The Non raiders dont want Gear equivalent to Mythic Raiders, they like being in much much weaker gear, its their life goal.

No, every spec has a BIS for every boss. Unless two items are completely the same there is a single BIS.

So are we asking for a way for solo players to get the same quality of gear mythic raiders do?

I like that idea but the content would have to be challenging right? Like clearing high levels of Torghast.
