I never brought up classic, you did. But, the vast majority of gear was raid gear. The few exceptions were largely for off spec situations that didn’t really exist often in classic like a prot pally.
And even with that, UBRS gear was largely more valuable at the end of classic than, for example, Nighthold gear was at the end of Legion.
Finally, I am NOT a “1%”. I am a casual and what you perpetual panhandlers are demanding is ruining much of the content I do.
If the game was “catered” around the people you want it to be, end game would’ve stopped at Island Expeditions and Warfronts.
If there isn’t difficult “1%er” (which far more than 1% participates in) content, the game has such a low ceiling that everyone quits after a few weeks. Notice how even LFR has half an hour queue times after a few weeks of it being released? Because it has no replayability. Meanwhile, Mythic groups are filling up in LFG in no time.
Live in Denial all you want the reality is still simple. The Majority, do not do it, the majority pay the bills, and the majority get treated like trash by unemployed neckbeards over achievement points that are pointless.
I have a job and a family. I don’t raid much myself. Which is why I don’t want what I do participate in gutted so you can get your ego massaged with bloated gear.
As if they didnt clear, they didnt fully utilize the content.
Again all this Mythic being 3% does, is create a false elitism. People think they are superior to others, because “I can raid mythic, my opion is worth more than yours” all it does is giving losers irl, a way to talk down to people that are better than them in RL.
It creates this toxic environment that we have today, that we didnt have in Vanilla. It has turned this game into a cesspool.
