Everyone should have a path to progress to max ilvl gear, EVERYONE!

I never brought up classic, you did. But, the vast majority of gear was raid gear. The few exceptions were largely for off spec situations that didn’t really exist often in classic like a prot pally.

And even with that, UBRS gear was largely more valuable at the end of classic than, for example, Nighthold gear was at the end of Legion.

Finally, I am NOT a “1%”. I am a casual and what you perpetual panhandlers are demanding is ruining much of the content I do.

If the game was “catered” around the people you want it to be, end game would’ve stopped at Island Expeditions and Warfronts.

If there isn’t difficult “1%er” (which far more than 1% participates in) content, the game has such a low ceiling that everyone quits after a few weeks. Notice how even LFR has half an hour queue times after a few weeks of it being released? Because it has no replayability. Meanwhile, Mythic groups are filling up in LFG in no time.

Got my daily dose of Ralph. Now he is trying to turn gearing into socialism.

No they werent and are not lol.

You are literally delusional.

Im currently on a 60 lock, at no time in Classic is my BIS mostly raid gear, or really any raid gear outside of weapons.

Robes of the Void and PVP gear, till Bloodvine, which is fully crafted and fully BIS till Naxx.

What isn’t? Oh I see, it’s not “raid gear” until it is.

How convenient.

No, actually 1% have CE bud.

1% Participates.

30% do Heroic.

Live in Denial all you want the reality is still simple. The Majority, do not do it, the majority pay the bills, and the majority get treated like trash by unemployed neckbeards over achievement points that are pointless.

I like verifying facts. Can you point me to a source for this information so I can review for myself? Greatly appreciated!

I think their point is the content they want to do is WQs, with Mythic rewards

World of Wargraphs tracks achievement stats.

Again, you aren’t being treated like trash. You are CHOOSING to not participate.

I have a job bud. I dont have 30 hours a week to raid.

Must be nice being unemployed though.

The best raids only take an hour or two.

Finding the right people though, is a completely different story.

Mythic Raids, DO NOT take an hour or two lol.

What’s the percent who raided Mythic but didn’t clear? That’s a much better indicator of how used the content is.

In the beginning of a tier no. Now? Couple hours for a clear is easy with a fully geared group.

I have a job and a family. I don’t raid much myself. Which is why I don’t want what I do participate in gutted so you can get your ego massaged with bloated gear.

No its not.

As if they didnt clear, they didnt fully utilize the content.

Again all this Mythic being 3% does, is create a false elitism. People think they are superior to others, because “I can raid mythic, my opion is worth more than yours” all it does is giving losers irl, a way to talk down to people that are better than them in RL.

It creates this toxic environment that we have today, that we didnt have in Vanilla. It has turned this game into a cesspool.

Even as a filthy casual I could not disagree more with the OP. There should definitely be better gear for those willing to do the hardest content.

Scrubs shouldnt be rewarded for simply existing.

Right, which you wont be fully geared without putting the 30 hours in at the start.

Thats exactly the point.
