Everyone should have a path to progress to max ilvl gear, EVERYONE!

Okay. Why?

And I pointed out there is a way. They can get it when the next tier comes out.

You can also go half-afk queuing for bg’s and halfway through the tier it started rewarding Heroic gear.

You could do solo content in visions and get 470 ilvl gear.

You could do Darkshore and get Heroic IlvL gear.

You farm enough lower end mythic+ runs and you’ll get enough residium to buy Mythic level azerite.

Literally what you want - people getting heroic tier gear at a slower pace if not raiding/high-end m+/etc - is possible already.

So what are you complaining about?

Because those people pay $15/month.

bro, games don’t just let you have things cause you payed for it

you don’t beat dark souls with 20 dollars, you have to actually overcome the game

I agree. I always thought it should just take a lot longer for casuals to get gear. I prefer to play solo since all my RL friends quit a long time ago.
The only group content I do regularly is BG’S and I HATED when I would lose to someone 1v1 because they had better gear. I could never convince my friends that played to do arenas more than a handful of times, and no one wanted to heal.

Personally I think if you do the top end raids/pvp then you should have quick access to gear and all the mogs, mounts, titles, pets, toys, and achievements that go along with it. I also think it shouldn’t matter to anyone else what my ilvl is.
If we’re the same ilvl and you beat me in pvp, gratz on having skill. If I slowly grind my way to a high ilvl and actually DO decide to deal with a pug, then kick me if I stand in the fire or pull the whole room. Lots of time people want you to link achievements to get into a pug anyways so there’s already ways to weed out people they don’t think have the skill to do it.

There should be a path for everyone to high ilvl whether we need it or not. Just make easier a lot longer.

What? They pay $15 a month to get access to the same content you do. I didn’t know we were also paying for stat boosts now?

People should be given an alternate path to getting the gear if it makes the game fun for them. The more people that find it fun, the more people that pay for the game, which results in greater revenue. And that is the real purpose for making games.

People have pointed out the multiple ways to get higher gear several times, why does this keep getting ignored?

But that’s how MMO’s work. You get mad when you’re leveling and a max level comes to kill you because they had an advantage in the game because they did something you hadn’t on that toon (in this case, gotten to max level or did higher-end content for better gear)?

If you’re looking for games where it’s always equal the moment you step into the game, then try MOBA’s or FPS Games, or trash games like Fortnite.

Do you feel bad when you beat a fresh 120 in BG’s? I doubt you feel that irked by it.

Odd that you would make that claim while simultaneously demanding that all the people that don’t “funnel to” that content be given a way to the same stuff.

I agree to an extent

only high end pvp should give you mythic level gear

only high keys should give you mythic level gear

from what I understand, you get that through the chest now, and not so much from activity drops

Are you just going to keep ignoring that the systems in the game that you want already exist in the game? I listed them out for you. You’re literally arguing for no reason, but to argue.

Sounds like you are tired with having to put up with people playing your game. Probably you’d be happier playing a game where you slide cubes on a board, so you don’t have to tolerate other human beings.

What is an “alternative” path that would require the same level of ability and time commitment?

Obviously it would require an entirely new track of content to be equivalent to an elite content like mythic raiding.

They would rather cater to the 1% until that is all that remains.

The 1% will kill wow.

Why you keep going on with “my game” and making “sounds like you… (blah blah)”

It’s nothing like that. I love playing with people. It’s challenging to get together and cooperate with others.

Rewards should match merit. Else, it’s just a give away, a hand out and you’re fooling yourself that you “earned” it.

But how do you do that in solo content?

Mage tower (prior to everyone outgearing it) was a good example.

Edit: make it like a timewalking scenario, is what I mean to say. The difficulty could always be there.

I figured that would be the answer. Which is fine, but how many people actually completed the mage tower before it was easy to overgear it?

What happens when those people, which I’m guessing are many of the same people demanding mythic raid gear without raiding, fail to complete it?
