Everyone should have a path to progress to max ilvl gear, EVERYONE!

You have 477 ilvl, access to all corruption. You are already at Mythic + level and you can’t clear H Nya.

There’s nothing else the game can give you at that point.

Fun for everyone doesn’t mean no one has to put in any effort. You keep wanting stuff handed to you the easy way. I don’t. We will never agree on this.

By following a typical progression path that leads into that content, rather than “I did WQs, now I’m going to fight Mythic Raid bosses!”?

I don’t want anything, and this is an alt.

I’m trying to give a thumbs up to casuals that want to play and have a good time in decent gear.

You people are really something lol.

Literally all your posts are the same crying posts that we’ve seen countless times before. People think this is Burger King and want it their way.

That’s not how games work. If a game doesn’t fit the way you play, then find a game that does. Don’t cry to have a game change to your playstyle.

If you want to use a bat and cry to make soccer let you use a bat, you’re playing the wrong sport and should look into baseball.

But that’s exactly what you’re crying about.

Nobody deserves an NBA salary for shooting Free throws in their driveway 3 hours a night.

Nobody deserves a master’s degree for taking high school classes over and over.

Tip tier rewards should require top tier work, not just logging in.

You can have 470 gear this patch without ever stepping foot in raid or dungeons or even pvp. Last patch some of the best gear came from benthic.

That’s not a good comparison. I think gear is more akin to compensation from work vs. a prize like in baseball. So if I am able to perform surgery, I can earn enough to buy a car in a week. But if I can’t, I can still work in a factory and buy a car in a few months.
WoW is a game. It needs to be fun for as many people as possible, not just people who are able to mythic raid.

We all pay to play, and the forums are an open discussion to present different paths for gearing.

I simply believe that people on massive meta questlines should have a way to gear somewhat, or even epic story scenarios for said gear. The visions were a really nice start! More content like this would be fantastic. Any challenging solo/small group content is cool and fun for many people, and I always like to encourage that sort of thinking to move forward (while also keeping raiding an obvious viable option). You’ll always get the best trinkets from raiding, your sets, etc and so on.

I never, ever put my foot down and demanded “something for nothing” for anyone (particularly myself, as I do raid early tier mythic bosses in pugs for the luls).

So playing the game isn’t fun? it’s getting top-tier gear?

And your comparison isn’t right. You can get a car (445 gear), but you want the ferrari (475 gear). That’s not how life works.

So what you are saying is people need the best gear to have fun? Why do they not touch raids and M+ and rated for so many years?

Actually I could not disagree more

PvP players should have a path to best PvP gear (this IS broken right now)

Raid and M+ players should have a path to the best gear (for that style of content)… they do

People who don’t raid, don’t m+, and don’t PvP - they have the path to the best gear that they need in the game. They simply don’t need raid gear to do world quests. If they do, then they have problems Bliz can’t fix.

well, I’m seeing you cry about other people’s opinion. If their opinions bother you, why don’t you go to a different thread?

The surgeon is generally always going to be able to afford a much nicer (higher ilevel) car than the factory worker. By the time factory guy can afford a S class, it’ll be the next expac

By the time people would be able to get mythic gear from alternative methods, the next raid tier would come out anyway. And that’s basically the way it is now already, so what’s the big deal?

Cause that makes an echo chamber so you are surrounded by people who agree with you, that’s unhealthy.

Ah yes. The old “I’m a paying customer”.

I also am a paying customer, but that means you are paying to play in Blizzard’s game. That doesn’t give you voting rights on how the game is designed.

If you want a great solo game, there’s GoW, Witcher 3… plenty of games like that. But, by your logic, I paid for GoW so I should keep posting on those forums demanding for group content, pet battles, or something else that isn’t what the game is.

And I didn’t say you want something for nothing.

I gave this:
"Blizzard rewards Z by doing X.
Player wants to get Z by doing Y.

That’s now how it works."

And I guess games don’t change? We are discussing how to improve the game, so your advise to take it or leave it is not much appreciated.

I don’t think the argument is to reward mythic level gear for completing world quests and other trivial content. Completing those areas of the game should be enough to get your feet on the ground in the three generally accepted forms of end-game in the game right now; PvP, M+, Raiding. Within those 3 avenues, there should be equal footing of obtaining the highest level gear. Am I missing the mark on this? People are so bent out of shape and arguing why mythic gear should be given for world quests and how everyone wants a participation trophy. This is not even the point being made.
