Also This would only work if Mythic Raid lockout also got changed. OTherwise it would be a real mess.

Well,can understand that because itâs a thing streamers push on the public and raiders as well,How many times from day one of a launch do you hear them in chat looking for folks to run a mythic? Or in group finder ,you have to hurry to catch the prize. happens every expanse.
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A PATH TO PROGRESS TO MAX ILVL GEAR, EVERYONE!
Personally, I dont want max level gear for me.
Im not running group content or anything high end so, for example, my 451 ilvl on retail right now is more than I need. I dont plan on running anything any higher, so Im good.
I guess I can see why others might want more. I can also see why those who run the raids to get it think one should have to do the relevant work to get that gear.
What relevent work? M+ carry for a weekly 475. and then fail heroic raid mechanics?
Ilvl means nothing, just give the gear.

I Agree, with this topic. There should be a way for non raiders/dungeon/pvp players to progress.
I Have mentioned before maybe a system that allows them to gather Ilvls per paragon cache completed. ( so every 10,000 rep you can add 5 ilvls to one peice of gear up to maybe normal raid ilvl) this would not break the system, it would make the 95% of the player base feel happy and it wouldnt break the 1% Egos.

That takes away from the golden child, mage, so that wonât happen. Mage can have your stuff, not the other way around. I heard that they are changing frost DKs to frozen water DKs, because mages had that spec first, lol.
Well frost is frozen water??? 
Catchup stops at heroic, because the intent is to get you to that level, and make you actually do mythic content to get mythic gear. Heroic is all you need to start mythic.
But the name frozen water wasnât taken by mages, frost was. I think that one went over your head.

If you canât put in an hour of effort a week I donât think you should get mythic gear.
I think the issue wasnât so much Titanforging but rather Blizzard let it get out of hand. When it was first introduced it was like 15 item levels TOP. Had they left it at that, I dont think anyone would have complained. But they let it go up and up and up. I personally had a piece at I think +50 titanforge.
In short, Blizzard broke the system on their own, we just dealt with the consequences.

In legion I had a 960 titanforged shoulder piece from LFR.
Ah yes, imagine the cries from the pet battlers fully kitted out in mythic gear who canât get a group still. And then the toxicity towards the ones that get in and canât do the encounters.
Since when is a raid an hour?
besides those things are group content. People are asking for some form of solo content, not to stay in the best possible gear, but to feel relevant or powerful when fighting a mob. ( Should the solo content players unsub and only come back in the last 6-8 months of the expac when catch up mechanics allow them to feel powerful, not sure blizzard would like that. Have you noticed a trend in activity for the last several years, friends/guildies stay for 2 months gone for a year play again for 3 months then gone again and MAYBE you see them again for the new exapc, maybe not ? )
Wow is a 15 year old game we have all walks of life in this game. Letting this tribalism and the 1% (or esports) dictate what is good or bad for the game or who can have scraps and who gets the goodies, is biased in a bad way when a huge percent of the ones being shunned or called filthy casuals are what support this game. I Donât need to say things like if they all leave the game is gonna go to crap ⌠we can see what 12million subs down to 2 ? has done to the game. But blizzard employees getting let go in the hundreds and the ones left getting paid horrible wages, is a whole different conversation that surely doesnât support the casuals leaving the game, 
And when players ask for solo content, they are not asking for offline mode either.

I cant say im 100% with the max ilvl gear. But in general, players asking for better gear that is par with normal/heroic in their own solo style way of obtaining,. is basically what i was getting at.
I tried reading all the comments but it got to be too much so I skipped to post my thoughts.
I am a casual player for several reasons. I donât have the energy and focus to do Mythic + raids/dungeons. Raids are too long for me to deal with. Dungeons, I can only handle up to a certain number.
The reason why I donât do most current content dungeons above a certain number is because of the ever-increasing toxic attitudes of players that have become so intolerable to be around.
I make even one mistake and Iâm kicked out. This doesnât give me incentive to keep trying.
You say, play with friends/guild? What friends? More like acquaintances that will only play with you when it suits them and their time.
There is no such thing as real friends in game. I speak from life experience when it comes to that. I am tired of people expecting me to drop whatever I may be doing because they are ready to play with me and help me.
People act like their time is more valuable than mine, more important than mine.
This mentality is what caused me to become reclusive. Spent dam near 50 years tolerating this crap. No more.
You want me to help you with something? Then consider my time just as important as yours.
When it comes to gear, I agree, Mythic + raid gear donât need to be handed out to casuals that donât do raids.
Those that truly know me, know that I hate it when I am not given a chance to learn something at my own pace. I donât want to be carried. I want to learn and have people be patient when teaching me.
I WANT TO LEARN TO DO IT MYSELF. Not have it be done for me.
