Everyone should have a path to progress to max ilvl gear, EVERYONE!

Thanks bro, I think I am more enlightened now.

There’s one problem, getting there. You have a ilevel entry if you not there you don’t get in.

No problem, it doesn’t seem difficult for someone that uses “bro” regularly. Like teaching a monkey colors.

I know my colours, they are red, green and blue.

Well Casual playing, Raiding , and PVPing are different styles of game play in game, maybe it is time Devs recognize that and reward all three with their own shiny toys based of achievements of each style of game play. If you want all the achievements then do all 3.

I think it is slooooowly sinking in and some others folks too.

I think this is why casuals loved wrath. They could collect badges for tier sets in heroics. Even though I was raiding at the time, I loved this too and never hit dungeons harder in any game ever than I did back in wrath. :upside_down_face:

On another note however, I feel as though crafting should also yield better gear. Not easily, not cheaply and not early on
but still. It should be a thing. In most other MMOs it is and it’s awesome.

And it took time to get that gear ,and you earned it :grinning: No one would say you don’t need the gear if you don’t play harder content because you are wearing it!

what if i dont like raiding?

Sucks to be you. I’ve never raided more than 6 hours a week from start of Vanilla until now and I’ve always managed to get stuff down. If you can’t invest 6 hours a week raiding but you can invest 6 hours a week flying around to WQs then I don’t see the validation of this post.

You choose to spend your time doing very simple content that requires only yourself and no threat of dying or wasting your time and people who do mythic raids spend it doing difficult content, dying constantly, spending thousands of gold on repair bills, mats, feasts, enchants, gems, BoE gear from the AH, etc.

You’re comparing a leisurely walk in the park on a nice autumn day to a grueling hour run in the middle of summer when trying to lose weight. Put in the work, get the rewards. Stop asking for handouts.

And forgot to mention - coordination 20 people as compared to just being yourself killing a mob in the open world. C’mon it’s apples to oranges.

I was thinking the other day about each crafting profession should get legendary items to craft. Not gear, but things like LW leg enchants we used to have, legendary ring enchants (which used to be personal only), etc, with something like a proc to make it a bit more interesting than basic stats. BoP of course. This would give people a reason to actually want to craft again

6 hrs? dang ,wish that was like for me,once i start i aim to finish regardless how long, maybe that my problem, dang.

Some of us spend many grueling hours doing what we do to our thing we do in game, or to get the rare items and such
we all do hard work in the game on things we do.

Running through an old raid one shotting bosses to try to get a mount to drop isn’t hard. It’s boring at best.

Killing mythic bosses is hard. High end PvP is hard. It takes skill, commitment, coordination, number crunches, rolling with the punches when they tune your class out and you need to reroll and gear a new toon, figuring out raid comp, which food is best for the fight, which talent is best for the fight, all the way down to should you enchant haste on all gear or haste on 2 pieces and crit on 2 pieces?

There’s no comparison between doing the hardest content in this game and doing simple world quests and farming old content. If you think so, then you’ve never done cutting edge content. There’s a reason only 1% of people get the mythic mounts and titles - it’s difficult and time consuming.

It makes sense they get the best stuff. That’s just a fact.

And this is coming from someone who only does 4-5 mythic bosses a raid tier if that. I’m not some crazy hardcore raider but I firmly believe the ones who do it should get the best stuff. Even if I can’t get it, that’s on me, not them.

It’s sad to think you should get top tier gear for just existing in the game. And I really hope Blizzard never caves to you people who think that.

I can pay someone in game to get my pvp armor or my void wing, can you pay someone gold to give you a million gold.

Getting 20 other people to all agree to the exact same schedule is not easy.

Getting 8 in FFXIV is hard enough. It’s irritating actually. Now over double that
 yeah
 that’s not a difficulty problem, that’s a people problem.

Yeah it’ll cost me like 200 bucks USD.

Thats real money different animal. I can’t give people real money for those runs but you can buy your gold through Blizz which is cool, but not deserving of a achievement. BTW I dont multi box either

Way to go Ralph! :+1:

That is a small group that does cutting edge content ,higher content yes not cutting edge.People do deserve the right to have an progression to it then block it.
