The time has changed and the game is it reflection of it.Used to be a gamer can stay on a long time doing raids now you be lucky to find anyone past 12a.m. doing them. It depends on who is progressing to what content.
Boring!!!

No boring is running 15 garrisons and 15 farms, but I like the management and the making the gold!
Thatâs why alternatives for Normal raiding is fine, because thatâd be what most casual players would aspire to complete. No casual player is going to be interested in clearing a Mythic raid knowing that at most they might want to push a +15 or do Heroic. Competition isnât as punishing in PvE content as it can be in PvP, either.
Opps sorry 16 opened a new one yesterday! My bad!
OMG.15 of them do you eat or sleep?
Army Ranger here, who needs sleep!
Why does it have to be Mythic? I mean jeeze man, play the game to what you enjoy. If you enjoy clearing normal, then clear normal, if you enjoy clearing Heroics, clear heroics. Why does it HAVE to be mythic?
Why are you comparing your enjoyment to what others do? What are YOU doing?
Nah but serious once they are running at full , you can create a schedule to run em. Itâs not that bad.
Casuals take longer though but they should be able to have the option of doing them when they wish to. Hey everyone would like a chance ,too
Oh Iâll agree on that, but thatâs what tokens are for hehe
Make sure you have that army coffee ready, soldier.
Then they can gear through Heroic raiding or M+! Equality in terms of gearing is nice and all, but defeats the purpose of an MMOâs endgame. Everyone puts effort into gearing through raid, so why should you be able to receive the top reward when putting forth just a fraction of the effort?
legion did this perfectly. say what you will about it but it was there was always so much content you could do and still get gear
Because weâre nuts about this game, and it time consuming ,âtime is moneyâ but " time is everything"
OP is right! Both the philosophy or design and the mentality of old boomer MMOers couldnât be more archaic. WoW has been fumbling with it, but they are finally figuring out that WoW isnât going to succeed as just a progression raiding RPG and it needs to be a vast series of social mini-games that people can engage in. Mythic+ and pet battles were a great step towards this, garrisons were not - nothing ventured nothing gained.
Itâs pretty clear that Blizzard have figured out that Azeroth is just a social hub to a variety of mini-activities. The problem is Mythic raiding and dungeons have much longer progression paths that are clearly defined by an increase in tangible strength. PvP honor ranks is okay, but itâs such a long grind with nothing but cosmetic payoffs. Pet battles are getting better, but still lack the âyou should play this every dayâ. Crafting could be a great mini-game of collecting ingredients, but they neuter the usefulness of anything that isnât food, pots and flasks to a greater degree with every expansion since WoD.
I donât like raiding - itâs boring and it always leads me to burnout and not wanting to play at all. That said, I would like a more developed progression path so that I have more enticing goals for the content I do enjoy.
The leadership has changed but this used to be bought up when BC/Wrath was live, mainly to separate the 5 person folks from the raiders.
Cause 5 persons are for scrubs lol
My general takeaway from this then, was that the devs did not want to seperate the gear by playersbase. Of course that was before LFR and raid difficulties came along.
Seemed to be no issues about separating the gear then.
Everyone does have a path; not all can complete the journey.
every raplh topic tldr: people should start at max ilvl and kicking should be illegal
Everyone does have a path to max gear. Everyone. Some choose to not take those paths. There is no need for further handouts with the absolute best gear. If you donât do the things that reward max level gear in game, not only do you not need the gear, because you arenât doing anything remotely difficult, but you also do not deserve the gear, because you have done nothing for it.
If you think youâre wasting your time in video games, good, that is what they are there for. No one cares that you feel this time waster is wasting your time. Itâs a selfish child that demands something for nothing.
