unreal how some of these guys are just unwilling to put even the smallest effort in. pvp gearing has never been easier. its kindergarten stuff. i could see if it was a huge ilvl disparity and hard to catch up…but its not lol its pathetically easy. to easy for my liking

What is the value of having something in the game that is pathetically easy to do? Is there an objective beyond waste time? Accumulating gear is literally just a time played checkbox. I don’t understand how making something take more time, that is objectively brainless to do, makes it more valuable.

No. Everyone has ability to earn the same gear, that’s why you play and that’s how you learn to play. To grind and stay competitive. If you want every class at 80, then go ahead and level. This isn’t world of hand me outs. From a gaming standpoint would you really want a bunch of people instantly having a class at 80 instantly with 0 clue what any spells do? You’re joining late into an expansion, and you just have to put forth a little effort to catch up. This is literally the best time to play wow in terms of gearing and catching up for pvp. The honor gear difference from the conquest gear isn’t even that much. There are people on the leaderboards in honor gear. Your points are all awful. Think before you post.

I don’t mind needing to level a class, but yeah, that’s what unrated BGs should be. Honor gear BiS and just have fun.

Generally filler gear. Crafted gear/embellishments moreso BiS than PvP-earned gear. That’s my main issue with gearing.
If they made it so conquest gear is BiS across the board with WM gear being filler that would be ideal. And add a purchase-with-honor option to change stats on gear and for BiS PvP embellishments.

Only 2 slots, for Embellishments, accessible by ANYONE. The only limitation is gold (which for PVP you could craft a rank 1 for cheap).
Sockets cost honor. Like, it couldn’t be any easier at this point.

Crafted gear costs the exact same amount of conquest as the conquest pieces.
Is it because you don’t want to spend the gold for the other materials?
They did! Exchange your honor for bloodstones, then sell those on the AH for gold.
I have made so much gold from doing that. it has more than paid for all the crafting and enchanting of my gear.

I refuse to use my bloodstone until they drop to 2500g each. Making way too much gold for once.

Ide be cool with everyone having the same gear in pvp. But this is not a competitive game at all it’s an rpg, so it makes sense.
That’s not what we’re discussing. If you don’t enjoy the game, or prefer a different style, then play another game lol. Op is lazy and doesn’t want put forth any effort to get caught up. Instead he wants to log in have every class 80, and have max gear. Blizzard makes less money this way, since it takes times to level + gear.

Man you must be a new player. The fact that gear SCALES now and never used to for years IS your buffer for everyone to be geared the same. You can literally buy gear from AH that scales to 606. You can run like 4 bgs after and have a full set of honor gear that scales to 626. Then you can do the WORLD QUESTS that give you literal conquest for FREE and go buy conquest gear that scales to 639 and bloody token gear that scales to 636. This is the easiest it has ever been to gear for PvP.
