I played 151 AV games from 2 Sept - 6 Sept to gear my DK in full S4 gear. I had zero problems with âbeing reported for playing the BGâ. I rarely chatted once the matches started, grabbed objectives and guarded towers with the offensive group in the enemy base. I saw A LOT of people just sit on noob hill.

I was mass flagged in WSG the other day on my rogue⌠was on top of the horde roof sneaking around to get behind a healer guarding a flag carrier. A warrior came running up the ramp and the healer ran off to help the flag carrier and they flattened him in like 2 seconds. He started all capsing for everyone to report me afk because I sucked so muchâŚ

Bet you only got silenced and not banned right? Just put in an appeal they will reverse the silences unless you typed some rude comments back to the warrior.

Activision-Blizzard has allocated what seems to be the least amount of resources, as well as the most junior/inexperienced developers for Classic WoW. Everything is automated because the higher ups likely refuse to accept that Classic is a massive success despite their burgeoning, arrogant sentiment of âYou think you do but you donât.â
They stated Classic was a âlove letterâ to the community, so they could spin it in such a way that they were doing the playerbase a favor despite it making ridiculous amounts of money they never would have even tasted if not for the communityâs insistence for its release. âBe happy we even gave you it to begin withâ is what the language always implies, and many players likely fall for it unknowingly. Just look at LFD for example. They claim they wonât release it to preserve these âpillars of the communityâ when in all honesty, they just refuse to allocate the dev work to reconstruct it in the Classic client. Donât believe it? Then why canât we queue for Battlegrounds through the user interface like we could in Wrath? They have the means and personnel to do it, but Classic is just a way for them to make a quick buck while investing as few resources as possible. The increase of sales in player 60/70 boosts is only a plus, and plays into their profit margin for WoW.
Everythingâs automated because itâs cheaper, and they know their giant flock of addicts will always stay fastened to their teat and keep giving them money despite a consistent pattern of negligence and a lack of quality.

So are you saying all the people that got reported for defending are liars ? Lol Just because you havent gotten banned doesnt mean it does not happen, theres videos of the mass report system in action. Its not some made up thing, Its very much real.

Yes chat squelching has been a thing forever.
However now people seem to be on some bandwagon thing because streamers promoted that this could happen.
I agree with anyone saying that false reporters deserve suspensions. Things like this have happened before, where abuse of things like the report feature gets you in trouble
I would love nothing more than to see 7, 14 or 30-day suspensions for people who false report. I wouldnât feel bad for any of the people who got them either. These people have already showed their low ethics by false reporting in the first place. The game is better off without them.
