Everyone is getting suspended and silenced for everything

Lawyer talk. A silence (you know what’s being talked about here) is automated. If you don’t think so get 20 people to report you for saying “looking for group, slave pens” and see if you are talking by the end of the day.

Blizzard has never denied that squelches (chat mute) are automatic. All these streamers are trying to prove that bans are automated by showing the automatic mute that has existed since May of 2007 and Blizzard has never denied exists. In fact, they constantly state that it’s a thing on the CS forums.

They’ve sent this community into a misinformation frenzy.

Anyone who reports a zombie needs to have account closed permanently. I’m done with these clowns

Having a BG full of AFKers are my biggest concern. That and the login queue times.

The Zombie thing is silly though, I was a zombie in AV not by choice, and people and whining about how I should be banned. I’d hope their system wouldn’t be that dumb actually do it.

I am unsure as to why Blizzard’s definition of griefing, and other reportable offensives, has changed over the years, but I feel that in doing so they have damaged the game.

In Nila WOW I was on the A-me 01 quest in Un’goro Crater. A Horde lock was doing the escort, instead of attacking, I waved and killed some of the mobs that needed to be cleared. I waited for the respawn and started the quest. That same lock came back and killed me while I was fighting three NPCs. I rezzed and camped him for over two hours, being a NE hunter made it easy to always get the jump on him. At about 2 and 1/2 hours a GM contacted to me and indicated that I had been reported for griefing. (Side-note…back then an actual person(GM) would whisper you in game. Not only that but most had RP style introductions and would literally be next to you, even though players couldn’t see them.) I explained what happened, the response I got was “Have fun.”

There is no way that type of play would be allowed in the current game.

Well… that’s what’s being talked about here for the most part. Plus, its not a huge problem with it happening. More that people are doing it in an abusive manner and that those people need to be looked into. Yes, sometimes people say things that need to be autosilenced. But if people are abusing it they should face the music. Like we got a guy with 10 people in a discord that is just mass reporting people on top of the bank in Org if he sees you spreading the zombie.

It has nothing to do with talking or anything. Its just so automated and the bar is so low, or the bigger problem is now that everyone KNOWS YOU CAN DO IT… people are doing it as just a meme.

Thats the problem.

I got reported for saying bad words and threatened with suspension

I think saying foreigners is the problem there. Its not just foreigners

Yeah dont chat and put yourself out there, thats the key.

Ok, you picked the cherry, now explain yourself. Tell us what it is that you feel is incorrect. Even had the stones to throw an insult in the process. Highly productive.

I Bg,i talk in chat, i have been a zombie…no issues…

The social experiment Brian wanted us to have.

we do not operate under a majority rules system and we are not a democracy.

We are a democratic republic. We operate by the rule of law, but the laws and the administrators of the law are voted for by majority.

They gave players too much power with that stupid report button. Even worse, those who it is meant to serve (the easily offended) have a nasty habit of censoring everything they disagree with and calling it hate speech. And if you give gamers a tool by which to grief, you bet theyre gonna use it to the point of being degenerate.

No they are not. If that was the case then wyoming wouldn’t have a greater per capita vote than california. We would also not use an electoral college and we would have split tickets. We are not, in any way, a majority rules government.

Then why do we have a vote, which is tallied and a victor chosen by the highest tally?

Is that all smoke and mirrors? Are we run by Hollywood and the talking heads?

Are electoral votes all or nothing?

Note that 48 out of the 50 States award Electoral votes on a winner-takes-all basis (as does the District of Columbia). For example, all 55 of California’s electoral votes go to the winner of the state election, even if the margin of victory is only 50.1 percent to 49.9 percent. - this means that the 49.9 percent votes are discarded and the slim majority wins. This is quoted directly from the Government archives.

Wyoming has nothing to do with California, and based on the sheer number of voting districts California has a much more influential sway on the federal tally.

Furthermore, the districts vote for their own reps by popular majority.

And my apologies OP, this was not the topic you wanted answered.

isn’t social justice wonderful?

Just about as wonderful as political correctness.

Honestly, I gave up on saying anything in this game. After multiple warnings and a week-long silence, I’m done. I used to spend a lot of my times in trade but I feel as if I can’t do that anymore, I only feel safe here on the forums.
