Because I want to be able to experience the expansion on alts. The entire expansion is based around these systems, and you can’t play it effectively and ignore them
Do it all on your main character, the alts are the bonus

I’m tired of my main. I’ve played it all expansion. The play style of a dk is different than that of a fire mage and that is different than a holy priest
I think they could do with making activities drop slightly more Echoes… 300 from an Emissary instead of 250, etc.
A 0-Mask vision, for me, is too intensive on my hands. So much that I only just now got R12 on my cloak.
My highest cloak is 8 and I have 13 120s I do stuff on every other day. So grinding this stuff has been kind of hard

To me everything that is left is end xpac busy work, pretty much to just add some sugar to the cream. Nothing is really needed at this point in the power curve to defeat anything. It has all been accomplished at a far less power level.
So above just keeping up with the Jones per say. And short lived bragging rights that each week your at max possible levels on everything. It really means nothing. So why worry about it so much. Because the moment that SL drops, it all becomes nothing, totally meaningless and forgotten as we move on into the next xpac.

I think this is a great addition, to have some options - some classes do have difficulty with full clears, 0 masks, at certain cloak sanity resist levels (though for those with a max rank cloak, I agree that it is a cake walk). However, I’m tracking this thread, and noticing that the ability to purchase the catch-up cores seems to be a bit bugged:
They are only 2000 echos each. I had 12000ish when that went live so was a huge bonus for me.
Just because you can do it with arthritis doesn’t mean everyone can. What you can do is not relevant at all.
Also not everyone has friends that play WoW

Face facts, if the core catch-up was handled another way, you wouldn’t be sitting here advocating for it to be added to the vendor for echos. If corruptions were all available to us 24/7, you wouldn’t be advocating that they change it to a month-long rotation schedule.
You’d defend blizzard’s decisions whether you actually agree with them or not. You’re the definition of a white knight. If they released a hotfix right now to increase core cost 10x, you’d probably defend that too.

Probably. I legit have a worse response time in my left hand nowadays. I don’t have a doctor so I can’t 100% diagnose what’s wrong but it’s severe enough to make me not want to do things as simple as typing, sometimes.

An alt who just got the cloak has no echoes. The ability for alts without the cloak to earn echos was removed whedn mother started selling corruptions. They still need to buy essences. They will never catch up, unless they are the people you are imagining have very high pvp rating, spam really high keys, and run mythic raids even though they just leveled up. That is a tiny percentage of players.
The system was designed to benefit alts of high performing players while keeping casuals busy doing boring chores that will never catch them up.
An alt shouldnt be as powerful as your main anyway (alt…alternate) and what do you mean not quite? I literally just gave you a list of how to get them.
I’m super casual and I managed to make it to 472. Don’t try to drag casual issues into this
