You can’t be choosing beggars, the thought that Blizzard allowed this was good enough.
But at the end of the day… You still have to farm visions/Ny’loatha raid for echoes. You have to… Do 8.3 content!
Take it or leave it. It’s like until blizzard starts giving complementary mythic gear weekly in the mail, nothing’s good enough at this rate.

What is it with you and forcing your opinions on people who don’t like Visions in the current state??
I mean we get it, you like visions a lot. Why can’t you accept that people have differing opinions on what is likeable and not?

A 0 mask vision literally takes no effort but they can grab a core easily
Refusing to do so is what doesn’t help themselves

The correct solution is to not bother with alts and just unsub until Shadowlands if you’re sick of corruption and the legendary cape.
Edit: BTW, I’m out of here on July 3rd until pre-patch. Taking some time off to play single player games and do other stuff. I’ll miss you and your ups and downs, GD.

Black Empire Assaults 625
Aqir/Amathet/Mantid/Mogu Assaults 375
Horrific Visions 250 + 125 per side area (750 for a full clear)
World Quest Emissaries 250 (1750 a week+)
Heroic Darkshore Warfront 375
Ny’alotha Raid 75 (normal) to 125 (mythic) per first weekly boss kill
Ny’alotha Looking for Raid 125 per wing
Random Battleground wins 75-125
Rated Arena wins 50-125+ depending on bracket and PvP rank
Rated Battleground wins 175+ depending on PvP rank
Weekly PvP Cache 875-1500 depending on PvP rank (I get about 900 a week just capping conquest with no rank)
Mythic Keystone Dungeons 15 per Keystone level
Weekly Mythic Keystone Cache 100 per Keystone level
Plenty of ways to get echoes for everyone!

I don’t think I’d enjoy that too much, I’d rather it just be littered around all zones in the game so I don’t have to go to a mailbox.

It will never be good enough for some people. They want it easy to get and then have it made account wide. There is nothing wrong with only wanting to do dungeons or raids in this game, there is a problem though when you try to destroy the rest of the game because that is all you want to do.
I frankly don’t understand why people are complaining on this one. Who doesn’t have a massive surplus of echoes? What are you people spending them on? I’m truly boggled on this one. Lol.
I spent enough to get my cloak to the point where all my corruption is negated so I’m happy. Still have a ton of echoes to spend. I thought about upgrading to the cap just for fun.
I think it’s rather cool. This character was already up to date and my DH was one week behind (still is because I think there’s a bug that makes it stop one before).
My monk which is mostly a joke/fun character I’ve gotten up 15 resistance because I had a lot of echoes spare.
While super late I don’t see any other glaring thing that would be a hinderance to my playing the game. I didn’t have an issue before, but this is definitely an awesome change.
The people who have been playing throughout are in the situation you are in but most of these people took a year or more off from the game and are coming back to having to earn essences, and level the cloak and get corrupted gear.
I’m still not seeing the core on the echoes vendor. Did they actually add it & I’m missing it? I think I missed a week & need 1.
But why? The expansion is over. Why continue to time gate this stuff?

I think it’s a bug. You can go all the way but one week before. My Demon Hunter is one off also and can’t see any cores.
Stop telling me how to play Bliz! I pay $15 a month. I don’t like to raid, M+, PvP, HV’s, warfronts, or do lame invasions or WQ’s for emissaries. I want max cloak and essences so I can stand in Orgrimmar and flex.

Blizzard: “Well here’s all the ways to collect echos”
Player: “Well we don’t want to have to do that. Why are you forcing us into this playstyle?”
Well, clutch my pearls. God forbid people actually have to play the game.
Edit for returning players complaining: And if you returned just a month ago, what makes you think you should be on par/same strength levels as people who have been playing the game steadily since expansion release?

Everything costs echoes, so it is still a huge pain to play an alt.
I’ve played this toon for about 2 months, and I am still 6 weeks behind, and there was literally nothing I could do about it, since the cap was 2 cores a week. Being able to purchase cores is nice, but it still takes months to catch up if you are starting fresh.
Recall that you need essences & corruption along with the cloak. I’m not sure why Blizzard hates alts so much. BFA has been extremely alt unfriendly the entire expansion, and this is probably the worst it’s ever been.

My cloak is 494…things die fast enough for me, I don’t even care anymore. I stopped doing visions weeks ago.
