Crucible of flame - given on intro (10 mins of work)
Worldvein Resonance - complete weekly islands (30-40 mins)
Pearl of Lucid Dreams - complete Naz intro and follower intro (hourish)
Vision of Perfection - defeat King Mech (hourish tops)
Essence of the Focusing Iris - complete a m+ key at lvl 4 or higher (30 mins)
Everyone seems to make a huge deal out of essences when you can get numerous rank 1’s pretty easily. If you want BIS or higher ranks then time needs to put in. But for an alt to get going this is very easy to fill some essence slots.
Do you even know what “needing your hand held” means? It’s not difficult to obtain essences. Its time consuming. How dense are you? Imagine not wanting BOA essences because you’re so terrified at the thought that people are going to be better than you on their alts.
And who actually cares if they have 9 mains? What is so wrong with that, if they put in the time to gear them and do multiple raids, multiple dungeons? How does it affect you in any way shape or form?
then we go back to the pathfinder thing. People who want to farm Draenor/legion stuff on alts should have to EARN pathfinder on all their alts in order to fly in those areas… Its the same concept.
so many things in the bfa are so bad… essences, azerites, a npc to reset azerites, gcd (i cant start a hunter bm anymore cause everything is on gcd who the hell think is funnier wait a gcd them press a macro to burst…), warfront… i cant really do a toon right now i am just waiting the expansion end to leave the game i will not play shadowlands (not leaving right now cause i have a raid group)

Character progression was never and will never be account wide. Thats the solid argument that you can’t accept because you want 3 mains. Unlocking almost all essences rank 1-2 can be done in a week the only rank one i didnt unlock due compeletely lack of interest in this alt is memory of lucid dreams. If you dont want to play your alt essences are not going to magically change its gameplay and make it amazing. You will still be bad.
Oh yea I forgot it’s split. Yea so even less time. Like i said above and you agree; Players complain too much about things that are easily obtainable.
Anyone who puts 3-4 hours into an alt can hve multiple essences in a small amount of time. Throw in the 410 BoA gear you are ready to jump into M0-M2, the raid on LFR/Normal, or PVP.
And that’s all i ask for. Consistency. Collectors get to play alts to do what they want by unlocking Pathfinder on ONE character and having BOA flying. But PVE players cant BOA essences why? Why shouldnt I be allowed to have r3 essences on my alts if I’ve EARNED all r3 essences on my main?
Flying isn’t character power/progression; It literally allows you to farm WQ’s faster and mats. Being able to fly doesn’t allow you to do more damage with abilities. You are comparing two different things.
Now now, we all know people do not accept 410 players into any sort of mythic dungeon, including mythic 0, and definitely not Normal Nyalotha. If you’re going to use that as an argument at least be accurate.
why does it matter so much to you that my alt has a r3 essence? please explain what it is that hurts your soul so much that you cant allow my alt to have a r3 essence when the expansion is over in 6 months.
Why not? Make your own group. You are clearly in a capable guild. I’m sure some guildies who are playing alts or even their mains will run dungeons with you. Or friends? I help friends all the time with their alts.
