It doesn’t at all. Just put the time on that character like the system is already set up for. Nothing is stopping you from getting r3 essences on an alt but yourself.

You know you can cap by doing random BG’s right? You don’t even have to do arenas or rbgs.
it doesnt at all and yet you defend it as if it affected you. We have 6 months of the xpac left, and all we want to do is play the content we enjoy at the level we enjoy on a different class. In order to get my alt accepted into my guilds full clear heroic run, he has to have 75 neck, 4 r3 essences and be over 450 ilv. oh and cloak lv 12 at least. You tell me how long that’s going to take ONE alt knowing that the xpac is over in 6 months. Who’s going to want to put in the time? nobody. And before you go off talking about my guilds requirements, its done out of respect of everyone else who doesnt play alts, because they shouldnt have to carry me.

try get 30k honor in the bgs to blood of the enemy or get the uldum essence in 3-4 hours
Then don’t do it if you don’t like it? I’m not sure what you want me to tell you. The system hasn’t changed and clearly isn’t otherwise the changes would have been made with 8.3 considering there is no 8.3.5. I expect it to happen in the pre-patch where it won’t matter anymore.
So your suggestion is to Afk in a 10-20 min queue and wait for a bg pop. Then hope you win. Wow such fun. Oh and if you miss a day no weekly cap.
You want BIS essences. Different story. Put in the time then.

Do you not do BG’s? Arenas and RBG’s arent the only avenue to filling your bar. And yes; you do exactly that; You que and hope you win. Isn’t that how BG’s have always been? Go do both CTA’s and you only have to do 2-4 days of BG’s. Throw in a chest drop in naz and you are gold.
No I really dont waste my time doing bgs for 50 conq. When i can instead do mythics to get decent gear to maybe do arena.
There’s no argument. It’s simply just because us casuals dont want you tryhards to have more characters than us that are as strong as our mains. Again, my accounts progress doesnt affect yours, so get off my back. I spend 2-3 hrs a day just doing dailies on two characters which is what most people have to play in a day. This is just to be able to upgrade my cloak. On top of that if i want to enjoy a different aspect of the game by playing a different role, you’re expecting me to go farm r3 essences all over again which means another set of 1-2 hour dailies, all because you casual cry babies are so concerned about what im doing? If i get r3 essences on alts, so do you. Just like pathfinder. We all have access to it. If you choose to use it that is on you. It’s not a big deal. STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO.

And you aren’t everyone. Some players don’t like arenas some do. I prefer BG’s to arenas personally. Do I still do arena? sure; but they aren’t required to fill your bar.
the problem is there are many ways to play the game right now u need do everything pvp/raid/expedition/dg/ dailys/ farm neck/ need farm essence pray for god to get the bis azerite every 2-3 weeks, in a 1/6 chance, if do a dg +15 in the week, there are a lot of layers of rng and they added a corruption system… u need get a infinite star rank 3/ twisted appendage rank 3 to 3 single target bosses plus racing pulse/expedient to the others (to destro warlock), to start a competitive toon to do end game content u need do all that so after 1 month u can play… if u spend 5-6 hours every day
Then stay stuck with your soon to be irrelevant 445 cap, and trash 445 box 
I’m not worrying about what others do? You do you bud. All I’m saying is if you want r3 bis essences go farm them because essences aren’t account wide and prob never will be lol. I’m not expecting you to do anything.

clearly you are if you’re on the side of preventing BOA essences to be a thing. You and players with your mentality are the reason it isnt happening.
Because there is such a thing as degrees of effort. There is such a thing as too many systems.
At some point, no matter who you are, if Blizzard keeps layering systems then eventually everyone will reach their breaking point somewhere along those layers.
Take the people who were vehemently fighting against account wide essences. Many of them have vanished into the twisting nether since Blizzard added cloaks as yet another system on top.
For some people, essences are their limit. For others, it’s cloaks.
The point is, it’s not some monolithic abstract concept of “character power” that people are asking for. They’re asking to change a discrete layer that’s been added on top of everything else. Telling them that it’s fine because it’s all character power in the end is simplistic and ignorant of the actual problem.

Yea I don’t want them to be BoA. If they become BoA great; There isn’t anything I can do about it I don’t work for Blizzard lol. As long as they remain not account wide I approve of Blizzard’s stance on this. There are a lot of things I don’t agree with they do but this isn’t one of them.
