I don’t even care for it, I’m not involved in it, i don’t watch it, but i still think it’s cool for the people that are involved in it.
Again - the only community in all of the video game land that would get mad at a community event like this.
I’m surely some people do, personally i dont think if fits the genre but /shrugs

Hmm i came to classic for two reasons, one because wrath was my favorite expac.
2 to get away from esports/timers/mythic pluc etc, and yet the screw up dungeons by not adding LFD.
Then they add heroic plus which sounds good but leads me to think it’s just the gateway to timers etc, and they add esports.
Can you just leave the best expac ever made by a better team, alone and stop trying to re-invent it? if you could then you would have made a decent expac in the last what 7 years at least once!

Have Blizz forgotten that a small space deathmatch based on stuns / cc / not letting people play their toons will never become an “eSport”? my gawd, I love PvP but this must be a parody account, rite?
I’m very close to packing up Classic tbh.
With SL over and I can now have the option to
not level in SL anymore, have RDF, go into a server I actually want to go to without worry of population.
I just feel like Wrath isn’t what I wanted because they removed a massive QoL system and making this some Mythic e-sports no one asked for.
I’ll miss Hpal the most because I dislike Retails version but eh.
I’m not here to play Sweaty on the Run, I’m just a casual but at least Retail can offer me that. 
I don’t like esports in WoW.

“MMORPG” and “esports” together is such a silly concept. The tournament is a one-off opportunity; the game doesn’t offer enough “esports” content all year around to be considered a game for esports.

Because WoW needed more eSports, Blizz just can’t figure out how to make a game entertaining without eSports anymore, quite sad actually.

Proof that blizz has had their head up their butts for a very very long time when it comes to what their fans actually want.
WoW is an mmoRPG and not suited to esports, so take your WoW esports and throw them in a deep hole, pour in gasoline, drop in a match, then bury the ashes. Your attempts to make WoW and esport ruined the damn game!
