WoW as an esport was a mistake.

Nah, I use to hate these posts because it felt like all they cared about was esports.
But with all of the changes I’ve seen in Dragonflight so far, it seems like they’re really trying to strike a balance between casual and hardcore elements.
So for those reasons, I’m in.

Season of Mastery was their test case for turning classic into an esport.
This is their last chance to prove, before the Microsoft acquisition goes through, that esports will make WoW more popular with more subscribers than ever before.

The moderators on those platforms are busy deleting messages from people complimenting the castors and completely ignoring the spammers running rampant in the chat. To this point, many people are asking for help to clear the spammers and nothing happens in return. When someone recommends blocking the spammers manually they get a temp ban from the moderator.
