Eredar allied race

The Zul lead faction of the Zandalari?

Oh so now theres a difference. Like the writers can’t make up some more bullcrap like a secret sect of Horde Void Elves that were a danger to the Horde so they were kicked out despite the Forsaken regularly raising their own guys in battle.

Or maybe the Kul Tirans who were human sailors until they became a mystical half ogre shaman hybrid people 1 year ago.

There was always a difference.

And we’re all the better for it!

I’m just sick of people saying stuff like “The lore doesn’t say so it’ll never happen!” and then Blizzard comes along and the writers make some asspull and suddenly it was always like that.

“Why would Blizzard make an eye option for Draenei a seperate race? That’s dumb, it’s like making Golden eyed Blood Elves another race! What are they, double good Draenei now?”

And now here we are.

Sounds like someone’s mad that Space Marine Draenei got added over Alliance Blood Elves.

I’m mad over most of the race choices. Vrykul, Ogre, Broken, High Elves, Fel Draenei. All of them long requested races. And no they aren’t coming soon. If you are hyping up BfA the Battle for Azeroth, as a faction war expansion, you go with your strongest picks, the ones that will get you the most subs.

Blizzard made their choices, and this team chose their pet fanfic races they made up.

Vrykul

Literally why? They have no purpose in the Alliance or Horde. They hate both.

High Elves

Ogres

They might still be coming, they’d need more work than other races.

Man’ari

Literally a meme allied race. The most despicable and willing of demons dont need to join the factions. They’re irredeemable. They’ve had millennia of willing terracide under their belt.

Sylvanas attempted to enslave Eyir, I think trying to capture the Vrykul’s Val’kyr god and Odyns g/f will piss off Odyns followers.

High Elves are obvious, they are a NPC allied faction with the Alliance with 10 years of history with them. There’s an obvious demand. But now that’s not going to happen, Void Elves exist.

Maybe, my theory is Kul Tiran was actually Ogres originally but scrapped halfway through and a Human model put on instead since they couldn’t be assed doing Alliance content.

It doesn’t really matter if its a meme or not. I know the writers can asspull whatever to justify it and the demand is there.

But they won’t happen because this Blizzard team has their own fanfic races to introduce. Next up Vulpera and Mechagnomes.

Yeah, but they hate humans with a passion and don’t care for the others.

Good. Their 10 years of ‘lore’ boils down to being Dalaran forces, and past that they share all their lore with Blood Elves. You’ve had 12 years to get over Helves going Horde. Move on with it.

Kul-Tirans are amazing, I don’t know what your problem is.

I mean, the Man’ari are the most evil, disgusting civilization in the universe. This has been made evident throughout the lore. They torture souls to fuel engines, among other despicable things. No amount of butt-pulls is going to make something that is the axis of evil into a playable race.

Also, Vulpera and Mechagnomes are awesome. Horde gets a cute, scrappy scavenger people that synergize with the core Horde races more than the Bligewater bligerats.

Mechagnomes are Adeptus Mechanicus gnomes, they’re perfect, and offer a more mechanical side to the Gnomes.

I know Blizzard already moved on, but it’s still more than Void Elves. But it’s over obviously.

I can’t believe they’d choose to implement ARs that make sense and are part of the story as our friends, over ones that have never been anything but enemies.

The nerve of those devs.

Yes, Ogre Humans, Void Elves, and Draenei+ make perfect sense, now for Gnomes+ and Fox people you just met.

Most requested races have more lore behind them than all of those races put together.

As I said, Blizzard has their own pet races they create and introduce. I’m free to call them idiots for ignoring player demand and ignoring the perfect chances to implement said races as playable in the story.

I always thought the Krokul from Argus shouldve been an allied race. They provide a darker/rougher Draenei without being evil. Would’ve been way better than Draenei 2.0: Now with even more light!

The Broken from Outland wouldve been cool too but not as diverse of an addition.

I think Horde Eradar would be cool, though I accept it may be problematic.

You are more than welcome to call them idiots for doing something other than what you personally want, I guess.

“There’s no way any Horde race would accept the Undead.”

“There’s no way any Horde race would accept Elves.”

“There’s no way any Horde race would accept the Zandalari.”

The Horde is composed of many races with sordid histories that banded together out of mutual necessity. All of them have reasons to distrust eachother. All of them get over it.

The Eredar are the Draenei and Man’ari.
Draenei/Man’ari are just two factions of a race.
So technically Eredar are already playable.

Blood Elves and Void Elves are both the same race too, so what’s your point?

Just correcting a common mistake.
High Elves are Blood Elves as well.
