I’m responding to your comment that Nerzhul was the first to destroy draenor. That isn’t true. Are you embarrassed or something? This is just silly.
Yes Eredar women are very sexy.
Even after all that the Legion was using Nerzhul, he was tricked into making a blood pact. When he betrayed KilJadean, he was turned into the lich king. So in the end they were still responsible.
is it possible that the manari could become playable? Sure. Though I think it would need some serious explaining for either faction.
I have two horde characters that I only play for the story… But yeah, them too.
dances Hello ladies and lads.
I’d be terribly embarrassed if I too didn’t know the difference between the words destroy, despoil and defile. Don’t worry, it’s alright.
Then neither do the Orcs or the Demon Hunters. Meanwhile both are in the Horde. The latter are in the Alliance. It’s been 25,000 years since Velen’s Exodus. 25,000 years is over 800 generations of Eredar. Are they all to blame for the sins of those who came before them? Are they all pure evil because their skin is red and they were raised to do exactly what the Old Horde did?
The story of the Man’ari is almost identical to the story of the Orcs. The Forsaken were placed in such a situation after being dominated by the Lich King (Ner’zhul/Arthas). Warlocks are widely tolerated, especially in the Horde. It makes perfect sense for them to join the Horde.
P.S. I searched for this topic to see if there were ongoing discussions about the potential for an Eredar Allied Race. I was concerned that posting in a 20 day old thread with its last reply 19 days ago might be borderline necroposting but it’s not even a month old yet so I went ahead and posted in it anyway.
P.P.S. (Also, forgot to link which post I was replying to in the last post I made sorry about that.)
Yes please
I still think it would be awesome for the horde to have them as a race. And i see the parrellels with what happened to the orcs.
… isnt that the pont of allied races.
Blizzard had their chance to bring in Fel Draenei to the Horde during Argus, along with bringing High Elves to the Alliance. Sargeras was defeated, cutting demons off from his power, Alleria and Vareesa met implying a possible playable Silver Covenant with their combined forces. Even the Krokuul could’ve been on the table since they were on Argus, with Void infused versions.
But Blizzard ignored all of that and went with their own in-house ideas. Players have no input into this game, this is the Blizzards teams game, they aren’t interested in your ideas.
They had their chance to put them in the game and they ignored it, so they are likely never going in.
This. 100% fact. I still love to theory craft though.
Nah. Dark Iron are fine.
No thanks, Void Elves are superior. They have the same model, only different skin tones and hair.
They wanted to stay, they hated Velen’s guts for leaving. They’re not leaving Argus.
Yeah lets bring a whole race of demons into the Horde. That worked out for Sylvanas with just one demon right?
There is no way any Horde race would accept the Eredar. It would be rather insulting to pretend a 20 min recruitment quest would redeem them.
How are Void Elves superior when they didn’t even exist until a starter zone in BfA? When the Void Krokuul were right there the entire time. Regardless which faction they went to.
You do realize the Horde is led by the Orcs that drank Demon blood and went on a planet conquering crusade right? And they have the Forsaken who are sentient scourge.
“no no demons are just tooo evil” “I’ll just take those troll cannibal guys”
Yes. The Orcs were tricked and enslaved by demon blood.
That is a great reason why the Orcs would never trust demons. Combined with a demon that was trusted already betraying the Forsaken.
Yeah because on Argus we don’t see the spirits of the Draenei being tricked by the ghost of the leader of the Draenei at the time, telling them they will have power and take control of their own destiny if they ally with Sargeras.
They weren’t tricked. They had the option. Most willingly gave their lives to Sargaras. Some rebelled and stayed. Some fled like cowards.
Why would any Horde race accept the Eredar, who have been actively trying to end all life on Azeroth for the last 10,000 years and never showed a sign of remorse?
“Hey, you know how I killed your family, captured and tortured their souls? Lets be BFFs now”
The Lightforged and Dark Iron don’t have a starter zone either. None of the Allied Races do. They start at 20 my guy.
Void Krokuul are nutty and insane, everyone in that zone tells you this. They’re ruined by the void.
Except the Orcs were tricked about it, and had an entire game dedicated to them ending Demonhood and returning to their ways?
The Man’ari chose their situation willingly. The Forsaken didn’t ask to be resurrected.
You mean the Zandalari who we fought against across like 4 expansions?
