On a whim I checked your post history. This post is right above another post that starts with…
No they weren’t. I can almost guarantee that’s a straight up lie.
I will probably get reported for trolling here but the irony was too great not to share, lol. Come on, you have to have a chuckle over the timing
Anyway… in this case, whether or not Humphrey is lying is irrelevant. Maybe you can make 100k gold starting from nothing but that doesn’t change the fact that the 100k came from somewhere, and that source is likely bot activity. Whether or not he bought it directly doesn’t change this.
Just because you can doesn’t mean it’s good that you can.
Man, the last time we talked about this you were saying that 10k was more than enough to go to to AQ40 and Naxx GDKP runs, and that anybody could farm this easily on live servers. Now you’re saying that 100k isn’t even enough and that you should probably have 1m???
Inflation has really progressed in the last couple of weeks!
On a more serious note…
I took a break from these conversations becasue it’s clear that those who are invested in the system are heavily invested. There will be no changing your minds so further discussion doesn’t really serve much purpose. The bottom line is, if you like GKDP you like paying for your progress. However you “earn” your gold doesn’t matter, you’re paying for your progress.
In any other game that was designed to have that kind of model I’d say power to you. However, this particular game wasn’t advertised as pay to win, you folks just made it so. Blizzard should have put a stop to this long ago but they didn’t, and so now for many of you it’s just part of the game.
No matter which way Blizzard goes on this issue, people are going to be disapointed. The best course of action would be to split the player base. If you want to carry on with GDKP and gold buying then stay in live servers. If you don’t, transfer with no gold and only bound items to a new server where botting, GDKP, and gold buying will be harshly punished.
