Dude all I’ve gotten tonight is AV and IoC. 4 AV’s in a row, before that two IoC’s back to back.
Blame:
Oh, I don’t roll that way, lol. I’ve mentioned before I don’t mind horde who merc and actually try and don’t troll. Like any sane, polite, well-adjusted person. But people discount the power of psychology in BGs. I saw a thread the other day where a horde was laughing about mercing into BGs and immediately saying, “We’re going to lose.” Many alliance are ‘used to’ seeing stuff like that - regardless, it hurts the team from the get-go.
ikr Juga. It’s gross, but I like winning. And the community that plays at that time is quite nice. So far I’ve seen Inemia and Jara from the forums and enjoying some fun Oceanic folks.
That community was just what I needed right now, honestly.
Yes! Personally it’s kind of what I needed at this point… Just a large, welcoming group of people who enjoy epic BGs (and want to play WG rather than moan ‘n’ groan about it).
Please tell me this group isn’t Hydra.
No, it’s the polar opposite of it.
Thank god.

im not talking about them
im talking about them.
exactly, so if someone is being a troll and killing team morale and you know someone on horde, pst them and ask for them to focus kill that player. 6-7 repeated trips to the graveyard tends to break even the most hearty of trolls.
Ahhh, I don’t know many people on horde (in a bnet kind of way). Interesting solution though.
IDK, I can remember several times that I wanted to see the Alliance “be bad.” The first one that comes to mind is when Jaina was still goodie two shoes and poofed us out of Undercity just when things were getting interesting. Varian could have been good, but they made him into a wimp and now killed him off to give us his whiny kid.
Jaina finally got enough and was about to lose it, but oh no, can’t have that. “No, Jaina, bad girl!” There are plenty of other examples of stuff like this, and the nasty stuff the Horde has done being whitewashed.
/yawn
thats why i think they need cracks under the surface, every single bad decision is played off as some random evildoer’s meddling. take the defias brotherhood, they could have just left it where Varian simply refused to pay them and left them out to dry (like a certain orange world leader) but no, it needed to be manipulation by onyxia.
they’ve painted alliance into a corner, meanwhile horde has had one brutal warchief after another, thrall and voljin were the exception, not the norm.
Not gonna touch real world politics, but yeah.
Cartoon bad guys for no apparent reason aren’t much better than tough leaders going wimp for no apparent reason (the writing just isn’t good, but I’d still take a big bad once in awhile over all the wringing of hands).
Not a fan of MarySueThrall. At all.
im only using it as a realistic example, not saying anything about it.
its a lot more understandable though, insecure people in positions of absolute power do get paranoid and start killing off any perceived potential threat. add in the fact the sylvanas was at least a narcissist if not a full blown narcissistic psychopath before she was killed and turned into a banshee and you have a recipe for disaster. she’s the type of person you put in charge of the military during a campaign, not the whole faction and not in times of peace.
MarySueThrall can join MarySueJaina for adventures and deus ex machina will save the them every time.
Alliance won IoC tonight via reinforcements. We (horde) had to defend and heal our boss twice. Finally got on the alliance boss but alliance intelligently came back and defended, easily whittling our resources down to zero. Game took approximately 62 minutes.
Gotta hand it to them it was smart - however their healers totally carried them. GG alliance healers.
Kinda hard to take a loss after waiting 15 minutes eh ?
Yes, lol. Though I think it was closer to 20 mins…
I just got backfilled into a losing Alliance Wintergrasp with 0:04 seconds left on the clock, seems by the time I even realized what had happened “Horde wins!” had already flashed on the screen
