I just used my dark iron to give that post a like to show you. What’s the point of limiting our characters individually if you can make 50 of them and give 2500 likes a day on different characters? Why even bother with this dumb cap?

Not that I doubt your word, but I looked at that and it’s showing two different achievement counts for the characters. Are they on the same WoW account?

I mean, I guess you don’t know for sure, but they’re both the same realm and guild. All I can really give you is my word because the armory isn’t giving Tinu’s achievement points to Keizel.

Normally that’s the tell that two characters are the same person. Like how this one, if you look at the armory, has the “Death’s Demise” Feat of Strength even though a) I got that one on my main and b) it’s impossible for me to achieve on this char at level 11.

Honestly I’ve pretty much already said everything I want to say on the topic. The dramatic clickbait thread title and exaggerated OP did its job. I’m just lurking on the off chance of interesting people coming along and complaining with me.

Best I can do is throw two other Tinuviels at the post below you. I really can’t prove anything to you if that doesn’t work.

You have no reason to lie to me so I am taking you at your word.

I’m wondering that, since WoW is the only game where you can post under multiple names, if the new software is interacting with it strangely.

Yes. As I said earlier, it’s a needlessly restrictive system, and thus should be changed to better suit the interests of the WoW community.

The fact that a greater issue exists does not invalidate the lesser.

I’m pretty sure it, in many cases does, actually. I suppose this is where we would differ on the usage of your word “invalidates”.

But if it helps I hope they give you more likes, and you get to like more things if that’s what you want. They usually kinda do go with what the folks want.

Alright, let’s have ourselves a small thought experiment.
Person A, or, Jeff, finds himself in a grocery store buying food for his kids. As it happens, he’s missing five dollars off his total, so the kids won’t be getting their dessert tonight. Oh well. It’s a minor problem, and won’t be the end of their lives.

Person B, or, Jane, finds herself in a grocery store buying food for her kids. As it happens, she’s missing twenty dollars off her total, so she can’t actually buy half of her cart. Now Jane has to put back half of the food in her cart. Her kids are going to be eating a light meal tonight.

Both of these people, Jeff and Jane, have problems. The same problem, in fact, but to varying degrees. Where Jeff simply has to cut dessert off the menu, Jane has to cut half the entire meal.
Jane having a problem does not mean Jeff’s problem does not exist.

Yeah its funny that you dont get to like what you want because of a small amount of people who would endeavor to abuse the new system… Like, but only this much so we know that your being responsible and honest.

You don’t even have to be “responsible and honest.” (I know it’s sarcastic) You can switch to any number of your up to 50 characters and each gets their own like cap for a total of 2500. It’s just the absurdity of limiting it like this per-character when there’s such an easy workaround that thoroughly invalidates it.
