I don’t do M+, but is there a chance that the ranks can get a bit out of proportion? If Paladins (or any other class) perform better by any amount, no matter how small, my understanding is that they will be at the top of the list to get in your group. If this is true then you get more Paladins running M+ in relation to other classes, making your sample out of balance. Being selected more, therefore running more, will also help the skill of the person playing the toon? Of course Pally’s may rock due to balance anyway.

Because all tanks are VIABLE between +2 and +10, blizzard doesn’t care if you tank class can’t time a 15-20 and they shouldn’t

Yes and no. There are times running the highest keys where one tank can simply time keys that other tanks cannot

Like I said, it’s really no different than any other season in terms of tank meta. These are +10 and up for TWW S1 and DF S4 because of the key squish and +20 and up for DF S3 pre-squish.
If we look at keys that encompasses 95% of the players, +2-12, the representation is even better.
