Endgame tanks in m+

I could easily explain what i’m asking and clear the whole thing up, but you guys enjoy telling people what they think more then listening to what they think

I dont think you actually can because i fully believe you think that the difference between those stuck at 17s and those pushing 20s is entirely due to the tank and nothing else

I mean… math doesn’t lie.

~20k characters at 15 and up (way less at +17 and up I’m sure… but hell we’ll use this to emphasize the point).

~2.2M tank characters at 2-3 level.

20,000/2,200,000 = 0.009 * 100 = 0.9

So including all the tanks in +15, +16, +17, +18, and +19 levels on top of your request for balance at +20’s… means you’re balancing for 0.9% of the tank player base.

You’re lucky I can’t get data to see how many tanks are at +17 and up, and at +20 and up. Oh wait, I can get some data. At +15 only there’s 16k tank characters… So above +15 you’re looking at 4k tank characters.

4,000/2,200,000 = 0.0018 → 0.18%.

Apologies… I was off by a bit. You getting the point finally? You’re asking for balance for a tiny portion of the population. Sorry, no.

I love how you can just say the dumbest stuff and then move right past it, respect

No I am not

Brewmasters need buffs because it’s either difficult to play or people are bad at playing it. Should be much more than paladins at least.

Although, perhaps they don’t want BRM too strong for raid.

Ok, then you argue with math. I just did it for you. You’re arguing for balance at the +17/20 levels… That accounts for at most 0.18% (definitely lower then even that at +20…) of the tank characters recorded on IO.

Explain how you’re not arguing for exactly that.

nah, move on

Got it… Your argument has no legs to stand on. Thanks for conceding defeat.

How is it balanced with Brewmasters having a single interrupt on a long cooldown and Prot Paladins having seemingly infinite interrupts?

But paladins interrupting more is just a perk thrown in. Compared to other tanks, BRM is standard? just like all non-paladins.

Because they can both time a 10

Brew is actually pretty simple now in TWW

This is probably a decent chunk of the reason

I want to put Synsha and Synsha in a ring of jell-o and have them battle it out.

I mean… that’s been a thing since avengers shield has been introduced to the game? Has pally been OP that entire time?

Come on Brewa… Use context please and argue fairly. No one argued that tanks are balanced at the level of +17’s and +20’s as the poster I was discussing with was demanding. For +10’s they’re more than balanced.

Same way its balanced for all other tanks having a single interrupt

yes 10s are trivial, so I believe you shouldn’t be complaining back in post #3?

Yeah like having so little self-sustain that BrM was the only tank in Dragonflight that still needed to be babysat by a healer.

So Blizzard nerfed them, too, along with all the other self-sufficient tanks, when TWW came out. Because that’s “fair”, right?

To be fair… I will say that BrM has felt a bit weak for some time… I don’t think that they’re anywhere close to non-viable, but I do notice the difference.

Subjective

The important bit

False

Depends on what you want to do in the game.

Technically, tanks are probably only limited at max key -2.

Which… seems decent enough, just like all the other non-favored specs.

How about not having to work 10 times harder just to achieve lesser results?
