They don’t need to end war mode, but they do need to end this sub forum. It’s just the same three or so people posting once a week and living in the past.

Man, I agree but the problem here is that the game just is not made for Wpvp anymore. Flying has broken Wpvp for so long. I’m sure you recall the raids of people flying around killing people, this is what happens when blizzard does not look at what the game is or was. They need to take some notes from what the game was back in the day to fix the state of the game.
It’s wild how many folks complain about flying of all things.
Net gun, turtle shell, bootarang, whatever are so easy to use…
Let me help you out, go in to your settings, and enable the setting that lets you start casting while mounted. Youre welcome.

Man clearly you have no clue how much power flying gives. When a group of people can move at 310% they can pick off players left and right, it is clearly a problem. If flying was slower sure it would be just fine but that’s just not the case. Remember it is not that flying is the problem, but that you move at light speeds and normally with a group of people. I’m sure you are going say something like “oH wHy NoT jUsT gO aLoNe?” It’s not just about me but the fact you can have a flying army at anytime. When you add the group part the flying it should be clear that maybe a flying raid group mvoing at light speeds is a problem. It’s not hard man flying is a problem and people have a reason to say it should be changed. If there was a trade off for flying, like moving at 80% mount speed, flying would be fair and no one would be mad but you move at light speeds. Before you get on your high horse please be able to think before just go

You can end warmod from any rested area in the game by following these simple instructions:
- Turn off Warmod

Guys, instead of trolling the post, be more creative in your responses. Wpvp is and will be my favorite part of WoW. Simply living in pve land and discrediting anything anyone says about pvp just makes you look like a clown.
We really need assaults in different zones with rewards that matter. Thats what brings people out in the current form of wow, warmode or not. BFA had a nice influx of really good wpvp due to those assaults. The best part, is that it kind of negates flying due to the nature of the assaults are on the ground and require you to not be in the air. Shadowlands lacked the assaults that bfa had.

I just now came back from a 6-month break. I STOPPED for 6 months when I had other projects to work on. That’s 6 months of peace in the cities, by gum.
While I was finishing a new book, I was HOPING that others would keep the dream alive…
Wpvp is what made me want to play the game when it released. Not knowing if you were going to get ganked, maybe gank someone, maybe start a back and forth battle that lasted for hours was so much fun. Every server ive played on always had a few guilds promoting and organizing wpvp activity. Even in vanilla both factions coordinated a huge 60ish vs 60ish battle in shimmering flats.

Those days are sadly over. I did see some fights last night in ZM where the creation catalyst thing is. Other than that… its dead in the world. There is no real reason to go out of the safe areas for any reason. War mode cripples wpvp even more in that regard. I hope we get a different setup in the next expansion that makes wpvp more rewarding and gets people to go out in the world!

Warmode would be better if the layering focused on trying to make it 50% Horde/Alliance.
Lately its either all or nothing, I do get upset that I cannot swap my main, and slap the dude camping an alt. Since majority of the time, I’m thrown into a different layer.

Well to be fair It was just said by Ion that everything is gonna be account wide in 10.0 sooo thats good for alts.
Still Im hoping they come up with a better way to engage players in the open world so people are not stuck in one major location doing nothing.

Not sure if you know, but there was a interview confirming there’s a whole team that dedicated to open world content in DF.
Not only this, it was also confirmed by Honlinka that they will be focusing pvp resources into warmode in DF as well.
As a avid wpvp DF is shaping up to be a great time imho.
