Turn warmode on while leveling and doing dailies and not just when you’re actively looking for a fight, and they will come naturally.
Also, go to a higher pop server group if it’s dead.
And that last bit isn’t new advice just for warmode, we did the same sh 10 years ago too. It’s how most people ended up on Emerald Dream to begin with…
Most people ended up on ED because the balance was almost 50/50 and we wanted to fight in the world. Throw in some good RP along with it, and it was great.
This is a big reason alot of wpvp happened, no flying, you had to transit over the ground and either you went or you didnt.
This actually makes me think of something… perhaps If they did create new events for wpvp in the world, when it started all flying would be disabled like a no fly zone, for the whole zone. That would be fantastic.
I would like it if they just disabled auto Sharding/Cross realm playing on high pop horde servers means jack with this crap system. make it Opt in.

3 second cast time against dynamic flight is ridiculous.
Yeah net-o-matic is only good for steady flight mounts… even then its a bit hard to land since they buffed steady flight speed to 420% lol

If your world is so empty and sterile that the only way to make it fun is to give people faster ways to skip it, you’re failing.

In MoP, with pvp servers, I would hover over the landscape and say to myself “Ah… This is the most beautiful setting WoW has ever designed. Oh! Look, some alliance trying to kill the Zandalari war scout…”

War mode has been super lame for me. I’ve been sticking with PvP servers in classic and SoD.

But hey the dynamic flight is fast, but you just have to be johnny on the spot to catch them, other wise it would be too easy to down someone with net. But also if you want to troll, pick another topic, it would be nice to provide good comments to improve wpvp in general.
You have to deathgrip into a stun.
Deathgrip alone will not dismount them.
So no, you don’t use it.
Remember when death gripping someone on a skyriding mount would break their character? That was hilarious. The moment they launch from the ground with Skyward Ascent, you’d just death grip them back and they’d be stuck rubber banding in air lol
I sometimes still DC if I mount and launch too fast…

I honestly couldn’t believe I couldn’t see ANY RP people in my own sharding. That was one of the biggest insults to WM; Normal and RP never mixed.

To all the people who say it’s just the server, what server should I transfer to?
I want reasonable BG queues, competitive chances in those BGs (both endgame and levelling) and a lively warmode experience.
BG queues are going to remain the same regardless of the server you’re on.
As for War Mode, it’s safe to say you can transfer to most of the high/full pop. realms and be good. I’m Horde, I play on Bleeding Hollow and I’m sharded with a bunch of Sargeras/Tich players. You could alternatively play on Area 52. I should warn you though, if you’re Horde, you’re going to be outnumbered pretty badly in War Mode.
I’ve recently been trying out the PvP on RP realms, my wife plays on Wyrmrest Accord and I’ve been having her invite me out there. There’s significantly less Alliance, but in a good way. It isn’t 50-60 Alliance vs 10 Horde at a War Crate, it’s about 20-30 Alliance vs 10 Horde at a War Crate. More manageable imo.
If you’re Alliance, your War Mode experience might be a bit dull. You can transfer to Sargeras or Tichondrius.
This is all mostly for endgame, by the way. War Mode experience is going to be dull while leveling from levels 1-70. Mostly because of things like Chromie Time and the fact that people just spam dungeons for leveling.
