No, you need to read my replies. You know exactly what I’m saying. The OP can care about what people do in Classic just like you have the means to care about what we say in this thread.
I get it man. You’re raiding and you want to clear KT before any changes to Petri oil. Rest assure it’s not going to change, so you’ll be able to cheese your way through Naxx.

Yeah. If you look at my initial post I joined this thread as a surprised spectator that this cheese existed. It was deflating actually cause I thought the raiders were accomplishing something insanely special but not the case with this oil.
I am glad you’ll be able to finish your Naxx clear without issues.

Noone is gatekeeping. You guys are just coming from an unreasonable position. You want full raid wipes to happen frequently so you can chuckle at it or something and feel better that you wont be missing out on raid gear because now its so hard noone will hold onto it long.
I did every raid in classic release and wipes and deaths happen all the time even with organized good players because the game is cheezy.
Petri doesnt stop deaths just full raid wipes.
If you want only the top elite guild to be able to raid and have access to the gear because they have 40 ppl who know every fight and mechanic already fully memorized then so be it. That doesnt leave much room for learning from mistakes when it will take your 40 man guild months to level and get prebis just to make another “attempt”. I dont see people bothering.
Juat delete the raids and make dungeons the endgame if you want to remove petri.

Well, you see, when trolls join the topic or at least alt trolls to derail the conversation and drive it towards the people on the topic rather than the issue presented itself, it is one of the most common forms of gatekeeping the conversation.
It drives people away from the topic since the topic itself is not being discussed. There are just people throwing rocks at others for being here and discussing it.

The raids have been out for 20 years and lots of people just got done doing soft core Classic, so lots of people should already know what mistakes not to make. Raids should definitely be achievable without Petri at this point.
EDIT: I’m actually gonna dip out of this thread now, but I’ll leave you with this.
I played Classic when it released and cleared MC, BWL, and ZG. I quit cause I was bored af. The raids are super slow and just blah. Was in a solid guild and we cleared all of those without wiping.
I’m just leveling, but it’s actually created such a new excitement on how careful you have to be because death is permanent! I’ve had insane rushes already.
Knowing this Petri exists makes me want to already stop playing. The end game will still be boring af. Instead of dying and trying again, you flask and try again. No rush of if we fail this attempt we have to start over.
My 5 cents.

With exception of very few bosses you don’t need the 40 to play perfectly to avoid a wipe.
