If premades were earning a % more honor they would still be topping the charts vs pugs/solos regardless so no they wouldnt

The top Premades would continue to dominate and earn their HPH. The lackluster Premades would be the new pugs for them to farm. Anyone who can’t get into a top premade would have option to solo queue. I don’t see how anyone gets a free pass.

Except there is a matching system which already applies certain criteria to try to make games somewhat fair. And in classic blizzard has made changes to BG’s to prevent pug stomping.
So yes there is a very reasonable expectation that blizzard address the premade issue with a hard rule in the matching system.
Yeah pretty much. I guess the point is the honor system rewards time, effort and organization. There’s no way to make a fair pvp experince within that system. It’s not possible. Unless you put in the time and effort on top being organized you’ll never be as successful as those who do.
Pve is no different. The hardest part of BWL is getting 40 people to show up. It doesn’t take skill at all.
Not doesn’t. The criteria is “does this group have 10 players? Ok good” it does absolutely nothing to ensure fair games
There’s really no arguing with ziryus. Blizz made changes to av a month after release to something that technically was in game 2005, to address un-intended queing methods. Somehow this implies that after 4 more months of people complaining, blizz is just lying dormant and waiting on the right moment to completely remove intended ones.
It not only ensures team sizes it also enforces level ranges. Or are you saying you want level 20 being matched with level 60’s?

he has no concept of what it would take to develop and test something like this on a 15 year old platform that sometimes can’t even boot up properly on tuesdays.
they aren’t going to tinker with something like this. for what? a handful of solo pvpers that refuse to make friends?
they’re going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions to develop this? and test this? with non-existent developers currently assigned to retail?
the game is on cruise control. its end of life.

I think is the main point. There’s tons of improvements I’d love to see made. The biggest ones for me are retuning raids, fixing the god awful itemisation and removing the debuff limit. But I know they will never happen, and I’m ok with that, I’m still having fun. Classic is what it is, and nothing major will ever change. If you expect them to make the game “better” you’ll just be disappointed. Play classic for the game it is, and if you’re not having fun don’t play it.
