They said they were bringing back the game as a museum piece. You can’t bring back a 15 year old experince. That’s just not possible. We’ve all changed as players.

Not false, premades were not intended for AV. When the alliance cheated the system because of short queues, there were changes made to keep Premades out.

Wrong. The change was made because games were frequently starting 15v40. It’s actually still possible to premade, just not as easy as it was back then.
The dodging fix was made for the same reason. When a premade would bail on a WSG the game would start with the other premade facing nobody, and the “backfillers” should have no shot.
Except classic is supposed to emulate the vanilla experience. And vanilla was not getting put against premades 90% of your matches
See the thing here is 1. I dont and 2. Theres more wrong with retail than there is with classic (IMO)

MC is and BWL and ZG and Ony are VERY VERY PUGable. To make a raid equivalent argument, youre saying that only people who are in the same guild should be able to clear raids and get drops.
Im in a guild but there are times where im online when other guildies arent because we arent 15 anymore, most of us have jobs and wives and kids and we cant be online 18 hours a day.
Classic and TBH are literally the only versions of WoW i enjoy. I know youre seeing this lvl 120 DK and thinking (what a retail noob) but i only bought BFA because it allowed me to get every bit of content inbetween tbc and bfa for 1 expansion price. I played BFA*** for less than 5 months and got bored with it.
you are mischaracterizing the changes they made. they changed things because premades “sniping” caused matches to start 40v5.

Right the alliance premades cheated the system, and changes were made to keep them out. I’m well aware it’s still possible to premade AV, but the general consensus is it’s too much of a hassle and it’s better to premade WSG or AB.

No blizzard changed both AV and WSG in an attempt to prevent premades from pug stomping. The changes to AV were entirely due to horde whining.

No I am not. Premades were not intended for AV. One side was able to premade because of short queues. The Premades behavior to try an ensure they’d get as many players in was disgraceful but changes would have been made regardless. If premades were intended for AV they would have allowed them to queue as such.
Fact #1: both factions can and could premade
Fact #2: they changed things because premades “sniping” caused matches to start prematurely with uneven number of players.
Fact #3: you can resolve all of your issues by making friends
Its not. If you read any blue post about changes they make to classic they always say things like “too keep in line with values established in vanilla” or “to keep vanilla experience”
I will be tuned in. Im sure there will still be some better pugs who will clear it. Naxx on the other hand im not confident about. But thats still 90% of the games raiding content that is pugable
Maybe. Maybe i dont have the same time i did when i was 15 but want at least some semblance of the experience i had pvping when i was 15
