End of the High Elf Debate

Of course, the nation that committed the betrayal are the traitors. Anasterian and the elves left the Alliance after WC2 and refused further help, only a few helves remained grateful and helped the Alliance out.

why would they be grateful when the Alliance didnt do a thing to help them?

Ion also said that giving Velves the Alleria treatment was not out of the realm of possibility.

where is the servers shut down button?

Actually, Anastarian’s inaction is part of why quel’thalas got hit as hard as it did. He blamed the humans even though it was he that didn’t take the threat seriously, thinking it wouldn’t affect quel’thalas. He sent nothing more than a token force initially.

He sat on his hands also, while Arthas rampaged through Lordaeron, once again assuming quel’thalas would be unaffected and therefore doing nothing.

It’s not a retcon.
He said overtime their eye colors would change to reflect the changed nature of the Sunwell (hence why some have gold eyes now) and the lack of demonic corruption present in most Blood Elves.
It’s not a retcon, it’s a logical extension of what Ion had said long ago would happen regarding the eye color.

Nor does it end the debate. Even if Blood Elves do start getting the blue eyes (and supposing those aren’t meant for channeling arcane energy or for blood elf death knights or something else), it doesn’t change the argument for Alliance Playable High Elves or end it.

Hear ye, hear ye… and still, nobody cares.

Clearly. No one.

I cannot believe that someone is actually advocating for more dev time for gnomes when if you add up the 2 gnome races they arent even 3% of the entire playerbase, really. High gnomes, leper gnomes, friggin gnomes with laserbeams attached to their heads are still a waste of dev time, in fact murlocs would have made much more of a lasting impression than mechagnomes ever did.

Yup!!

Thank you for your ebic statistics™.

I’m sure that is nice.

Cool story bro.

High Gnomes and High Dwarves are the strongest races on Azeroth. And will gain 100% of the wow community’s favor.

Quel’regan and Quel’forge will destroy the opposition flawlessly.

That is not nice, its just fact. Here:

Cool.

But what does it matter?

Once High Gnomes and Dwarves get released might as well give up.

They are the rulers now.

I’m in when are the devs getting this to us?

That’s not accurate information. I do wish blizzard would drop some population numbers.

You don’t appear to know your lore very well so allow me to educate. They didn’t name themselves Blood Elves via drinking Fel Energies or being visually different from others, they named it for political purposes and none other.

Lorewise in Burning Crusade there could had been Blue-eyed elves who took upon the title ‘Blood Elf’, and hence of such nothing was retconned.

Although most of the Elves in Quel’Thalas especially those that politically changed their name to ‘Blood Elves’ chose to feed off Fel, it wasn’t due to the title but merely a means to sate their addiction & withdrawal from magic; and hence most would have had the emerald-glow from their eyes.

I think “high elf” should trigger a ban in the forums for a week so we never have to get our eyes assaulted again

It’s like the alliance know they can’t beat horde at pvp so they decided to win forums pvp by being annoying

Not me…handing Blood Elves a blue color doesn’t make me want to stop working toward playing the Silver Covenant. Nothing and i mean NOTHING could make me faction swap to the powerhungry bloodthirsty genocidal maniac faction that is the Horde. Almost all of the races have zero morals and are garbage individuals bent on personal gain with small pockets of beings that might be worth a crap if they could pull their heads out long enough to realize what they have signed up for.
