People will move to where the people are. It’s a feedback loop where the more characters a server can accommodate, low pop servers will get more low pop and high pop will get more high pop. This was illustrated in a tidy way with the classic “mega servers”.

what do you mean you dont see a huge difference between the first 2 and the rest? i left argent dawn back during mid bfa cause it was dying and i needed to find a new place to raid but every now and then i go back to say hi to friends on there and see whats left. everywhere looks so empty it might was well be a single player game. and this is on a tuesday at 8 which is arguably peak gaming
My server is linked with like 4 or 5 other servers and it’s still dead lol.

Just a comment, someone was saying Proudmore is amongst the dead / dying server list, but I’m logged on right now in the middle of a weekday afternoon, and Valdrakken is full of Proudmore folks, visually, and /who being capped for lvl 70s; and trade chat seems to be buzzing along just fine. Listed as “Full” on the realm selection page for login as well.

We know exactly what they’re going to do: make guilds cross server, because they specifically said they’re not touching servers.

Nothing I said was incorrect. But hey, tell that to the people I just saw last night from Argent Dawn in Stormwind. 
I mean, you’re playing an Evoker. Which means you’re an overgrown ugly chicken with proportion issues and altogether just unsightly visuals.
And that by default, makes you wrong. No matter the points you make, by error of fashion disaster.

I think they should offer free guild / character moves from empty servers and then close those servers, cuz why maintain a server when theres no one on it
Sounds counterintuitive but blizzard’s first step at this was merger severs.
I personally liked it when say Elune was JUST elune.
Severs seemed more full overall sure you had your runts that were low pop but it was lower chance than now.

Dead servers another reason region wide crafting should be a thing.
That’s cool, go play on Gnomeregan, and use only people from Gnomer or the Night battlegroup.

And no I don’t see an issue with “rerolling”. Because it takes so little effort to do.
Even gearing now. You can literally spend less idk, maybe 13 hours to go from 1-70 AND get them decently geared to about 450 minimum?
I mean, I got every class except for rogue and shaman up to 70 from level 1 and a minimum of 430 within the same month so…
And that was with taking a good few 2 or 3 day breaks per character and only playing for a few hours a day.
This game is not that hard to “reroll”
Almost no consequence really.
Just takes a SMALL bit of effort you are apparently too lazy to put in and would rather put into whining on the forums instead.

You say that but the WoW community doesn’t support this style of gaming anymore. Blizzard doesn’t support it. There is no reason to talk to anyone while doing quests. If you try, people will generally ignore you. The ones that respond will whisper you because they think you’re a noob and don’t want to embarrass you. If you want to socialize in Retail, your best bet is to join a community that is doing some kind of endgame. A casual one for dads who like to chat it up in Discord.

Yeah, but I have no interest in endgame. So I’mma keep making people feel awkward like I always have, and wearing the unattainable Grunt title cause 1) it’s hilarious cause it’s like lvl 0 PVP from vanilla, and 2) it’s old as heck and they cannae get it. So I’m clearly not a noob.

not really. i’ve never experienced anything weird or anything. i moved 7 characters to the server. game feels so much more alive now that i see people everywhere. i spend too much time now just reading trps because some of them are pretty funny. there a re a lot of people who just want to play the game on a more full server, one of the reasons i think its so busy
