Empty Servers

I moved to Moonguard last night, now the game actually has people in it. It’s AMAZING~

Yes, it’s a unique life support system called Cross Realm.

Because if they started actually merging realms, it’d let people know that the WoW population has fallen drastically and they wouldn’t want that.

It’s basically a band-aid fix at best.

Areas that aren’t cross-realm are going to be fully dead, or if cross-realm is turned off for any reason, sometimes it acts weird in cities.

DF is also in a bit of a lull right now, and many WoW players are over in SoD instead, like me. P2 comes out on the 8th.

In my opinion, they need to dwindle down their servers by half… . but also people are just taking a break, a lot of people are burnt out and are waiting for the next expansion.

SoD is fun and all, but I did vanilla when it was current and you couldn’t get me to level slow-base (can’t say bum) vanilla if my life depended on it. I’d rather heckin die.

It is so.

Boring.

I tried yesterday, I fell asleep in my old granny nappy chair. Steam Deck in hand, snoring like a boss.

Sharding is helping with that feeling, we are never truly in our server either. Every day i log on any character, i’m either in a OC merged zone or some odd server i never heard off before ( my server is tagged as full). Sharding is most likely the culprit for the issues we have atm into not really seeing anybody around, the automation of stuff happening mid raid even is crazy.

Oh man, I was in LFR the other day, I was the only one there lol!

Like, I could see the boss, ppl were damaging it.

My settings were on ultra.

AND I COULDN’T SEE ANYONE BUT ME.

That was SUPER FUN.

You understand how debate works, right? It involves not pulling numbers out of your nether regions or making blind assertions with no rationale.

Lol. Yikes, even. Things like CRZ and Connected Realms wouldn’t even exist if all those servers had healthy populations.

Go look at the realm forums. Look at Stormrage, a genuinely high-pop realm. Lots of recent threads, right? Now like at, oh I dunno, any connected realm. You barely need to scroll the page down to get to threads from ~2 years ago. It doesn’t take Einstein to deduce why that is…

It is cause of that place I will never make a character there on Moonguard. The bad reputation for being a Rated X naughty hub since vanilla is a permanent mark on there record.

What??

We have a red light district and nobody ever told, invited, or told and invited me??

c’mon gang. I can get raunchy with the best of them.

  1. Server hasn’t been around that long.
  2. The tourists made Goldshire what it is, not the server itself.
  3. Ignore the place. It has no bearing on anything.
  4. The server doesn’t have that reputation. Just Goldshire.
