Embers of Fyr'alath Empowered - February 20

You’ll have better luck spamming tweets @WarcraftDevs and @Watcher than in-game suggestions if you actually want action before the next reset.

I am all for this, because my DK already feels weak in my hands, so why make me feel even worse because I am based around the power of a legendary I’ll never have.

The whole idea of a legendary that gets easier to get as time goes on defeats the entire purpose of it, if everyone is special, then nobody is special.

Hopefully they hotfix it again soon so we don’t have too much of a flood of Legendaries… I’d really hate for M+ to be a whole mess of “Link Legendary for invite”… We don’t need a repeat of S1 Legion for content progression…

Cobra skins! Antlers! Come get your cobra skins and antlers!

(Some AH goblin out there is going to have field day with all the crafting mats needed with so many drops in a single week, aren’t they?)

(Oops, are antlers not required?)

Eh 22+ viable in group not a single drop though
it was normal…but still thought at least one would drop.

This is relevant to my complaint about the RNG / Loot Duplication and Briselody’s logic on the Forums. xD

Me: “Hrm… I’m starting to think the Loot System is not RNG, but intentionally rigged to waste players time.”
Briselody: “This is pure conspiracy theory. Your insane! Everything is on the level, honest!”
Me: “Alright. Admittedly I could be wrong. Still, can I see the records to rule my concern out?”
Briselody: "NO!! -tableflip / lights the records on fire- YOU DONT NEED TO! YOU CANT PROVE IT!11! YOUR EVIL!"

The system you are using to award the legendary insures it will mostly go to players who already have that content on farm. I believe my case is pretty typical: I got it maybe a month or go, after I already had AotC, KSH, all my M+ portals… Making the power-up mostly irrelevant. By the time I got the legendary, I was done with my main for this season and mostly playing alts.

I’m convinced it wasn’t changed. They’re just pulling a “Onyxia is taking more deep breaths” on us.

Got it on my 4th heroic kill on my pally

With this Legendary weapon all we see is an over representation of Paladins, Death Knights, and Warriors has resulted in a lack of class diversity within LFR queue compositions.

The overabundance of Paladins, Death Knights, and Warriors affects our raid composition’s effectiveness. There are encounters where having a broader range of class abilities and roles would greatly benefit our success rate, but this imbalance limits our flexibility.

Unfortunately, the dominance of these three classes in raids has led to some players feeling excluded or less valued. Those who do not play Paladins, Death Knights, or Warriors may feel at a disadvantage, which can impact morale and overall raid cohesion.

The really simple fix next time there’s a legendary like this is to scale the probability exponentially (so each additional kill adds more BLP than the previous kill) instead of linearly.

Whatever you’d done, it didn’t buff BLP enough @Kaivax. Every. Single. One. Of my friend’s alts have received the weapon this week with 3-4 kills. I have a kill every week since it came out and I didn’t not get it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Now that i’ve lost 3 months of our lives clearing the raid everyweek grinding that axe for a huge and incredible “EMBER" you are going to “increase the chance significantly” that’s a really good way to milk players until they start to milk your pockets blizz

I mean, to be honest…legendaries in WoW have become watered down. Before I expand on that, I will admit I am highly discontent with the fact that alts in my guild, first kill ever, got the 2h axe…and here I am, having killed it every…single…week…yet to get it on my main ret paladin. And I don’t know what percentage my “Bad luck protection” is at.

So anywho, Blizzard needs to go to a new model for how they list items. If an item is supposed to “legendary”, then history would state it should be usable and highly viable for multiple tiers/the entire expansion. Especially when some people don’t get it when the current raid is current or nearly at the end. What makes that item so “legendary” outside of the orange colour when it’s literally about to be replaced, more often than not, by a blue item with a higher ilvl cause the proc on it will be nerfed. Some legendary item.

Call them artifacts instead. And let them be able to grow with the expansion. It makes sense for the Evoker weapon to be a legendary item…but it needed to grow and continue to be viable as a legendary…it’s sort of the whole point of this expansion. Have it this grand quest line…money sink…guild orientated to help the class…INVOLVE THE COMMUNITY ASPECT, etc. Then as we uncover new areas, other classes discover “artifacts” that grow and be viable for their specs.

But this…huge freaking swing and miss. There’s no community aspect, it’s all solo stuff, which is neat and all as it doesn’t needs to waste time and effort for the casual players who don’t have high end guilds or highly active guilds…which is why an artifact system is better for that. But a legendary…that’s a guild item. Make it mean something again. Make guilds mean something. And I feel like that’s where WoW is missing the mark. It isn’t a community anymore, it’s a game of people to just do stuff together.

Classes should not be built around an item that isn’t workable towards. And a BLP token isn’t that answer. The MoP cloak…probably the better model for a community wide legendary. And there was an end goal for players to have it. Go back to that style…you can even mix it up. X class gets a legendary trinket, Y class gets weapon, Z class gets belt, etc…but the point is to have it as an item for the end expansion raid.

Since the update ive heard 10x more people saying they got it. Guilds, forums, players walking around with it. I would say from super rare to kinda sorta rare, but a good amount of people will get it. Personally I think legends should stay super rare, but thats just my opinion.
