Elune might be older and more powerful than we ever imagined

Yes and what did Tyrande say to that?

She committed a ritual in which most people die? I’m confused why that has any bearing on Elune’s status.

If she is truly a god there would be multiple recordings of her on other planets. So far, that only exists on Azeroth. There has to be something tying her specifically to it imo.

No, its specifically mentioned that she does not manifest in physical form. She’s not in the plane the player is.

A physical reference isn’t needed. What’s needed is other instances of her power being bestowed onto other beings.

So far it’s only Night Elves and only on Azeroth.

This is ignoring two facts; that gods seldom have the same name from one place to another, and the fact that our characters are only familiar with a small handful of worlds.

That we, in our naturally limited knowledge, know of.

You’ve been to all the other life bearing planets in the Warcraft universe? You’ve got to tell me how you did that.

True, but there would be consistency with bestowing power. Gods don’t generally have a favorite child.

You’re ignoring what I’ve said previously.

WHAT GODS ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Gods always are depicted as having favorites. In real life and out.

In Azeroth.

Always depicted as having favorites. Every god in Azeroth. This is a speculation thread and you’re throwing around your speculations as facts.

Well whatever friend. I’m don’t think she’s an actual god. She’s probably the first titan and possibly Azeroth herself. What she does is no different than what titans can do.

My guess will remain that she’s the Titan of Creation.

Again specifically mentioned in the lore, she is older than the titans.

This would make me rage, tbh.

I think it’s being foreshadowed pretty hard. There’s a weird connection she has with the dream and she seems to create life but never object to it ending.

Elune is an old god, but doesn’t seem to be evil like n’zoth or y’shaarj. a “good old god” perhaps ?

She’s older than that if Khadgar is to be believed. He puts her origin from before the ordering of Light and Dark. Old gods are born of the physical manifestations of the void.

To be fair, Khadgar’s guess is rather… baseless and speculative.

Yeah she could be older than the titans because she’s the first titan.
